Cars...

Post by PH-WSN »

What type of car do you have (or do you like)

Mine is the 1999 Volkswagen Polo TDI "comfort", but if i could afford it, i would really want to own an Aston Martin Vanquish

The Polo however is more economic and affordable, it gives a good milage, it's comfortable and it handles fine.

I'm only sixteen, so I'm too young to own a car. My dad has a Citroën Xsara.

My parents have got a old (12 years) Audi 80 Tubo Diesel ...
Personally, I really like audi's as they drive very smoothly ...

Later I want to have a Golf Rabbit or a Ford Focus (Sports Edition)

Just like my dad, I'm a fan of Italian cars, especially Alfa Romeo.

My mother has a 9-year old Fiat Bravo (I'm also using this one), and my dad drives a 4-week old Alfa 166.

I drive what I can get my hands on - this week it is a Daewoo Kalos (2nd this year) not brilliant but better than walking, and my wife's Twingo(still have a soft spot for the little cutie). Earlier in the year I had a Mercedes A-class diesel (auto) but my favourite so far was the Mondeo Estate 2.0 diesel - very quick when needed but economical and well bolted together and just acres of space for passengers and luggage. Best car ever driven was Jaguar XK150 - just magical. Most fun Range Rover V8 converted for off-road trialling.

Until recently I had a Smart City Coupe diesel, its a fun car but the quality and especially the price for maintenance sucks......

Not once I had to pay less than 400 euro for maintenance.
The engine had to be replaced after only 41.000 km, Mercedes payed for it.

No expensive gadgets for me anymore, so now I drive a white Fiat Punto, no options, just a radio/cd and I love it.

I like the Peugeot CC ( 206 convertible ).

I don't drive, but I am influenced by the cars people drive in my part of Scarborough! Just along the road from us is Rolls Royce Row (loads of detached houses with posh cars alongside) and Cruiser Country (there are more Chrysler PT Cruisers in this part of Scarborough than anywhere else in North Yorkshire, I am sure of it  ) with Cruisers parked on the road outside houses, and a lovely pearly coloured one, which looks a different colour as the light changes is often seen near where I live. Also, the PT Cruiser is one of my favourite cars in Gran Turismo 3 (all Playstation 2 fans will know that game!)

I drive a Toyota Corolla, this summer it will be 10 years old.

If i could really wish for anything, i would have expensive taste, i guess: a Bentley, BMW 7 series or Dodge Viper (but not the newest model) would always do the trick 8) Or even better: give me all 3 of them! Hehe :D

Pieter

I drive a kind of Boeing 737 of the roads:
 unexpensive
 reliable
 confortable

It's indeed a 5-door Citroën Saxo 1.1.
I have had it since 04/2001.

Before the Saxo I had an other Citroën : AX 'Image'. It was my first car. I regarded this AX as a really nice car although it was fuel-thirsty (9L/100km  )

My dream car would be a blue Peugeot 206CC

Someone else with good taste! The game came with my PS2, and it was the first one I played. We have two controllers, so I often thrash VC10 in the two person races

For anyone who does not know the game, it has photo quality graphics and the cars are just awesome. If you have a PS2, you need this game!

I've been driving Land Rovers for the last 15 years (Series III, then Defenders). I just sold my Defender and I drive a 1992 Golf now, but I still drive an old 1952 Minerva TT (Ex ABL) now and then, wich is technicaly a Series I Land Rover with a steel body.
