Today the new A320neo rolled out of the factory in Toulouse Blagnac.
Bigger engines,sharklets and 15 perrcent more economical.
Plus 2700 orders ...

Those engines look unnaturally big on the A320. I find it kind of ugly.
I can't imagine what an A319 will look like with those huge things hanging off the wing.
They should look pretty slick on an A321 though, making it look more like a B757.

If you compare the size of engines to the size of the corresponding plane throughout the years, you can't but notice ever bigger engines. I still remember I used to find the engines on classic 747s huge!Flanker2 wrote:Those engines look unnaturally big on the A320. I find it kind of ugly.
Nowadays, you'd consider them tiny of course.
Good to see there is a noticeable difference between the new A320 and the current one: makes life all the easier for spotters.

Compared to the GE-90 of the 777 i don't think these can be considered big, even relatively...
