This is Luchtzak Pub, so I've permitted myself to do what all Belgian newspapers do: attract readers with a misleading title.
As from now, all churches in Grimbergen will ring their bells every Monday at 11h55: "5 voor 12". With that ringing-the-bells, they want to show the world they disagree with the new dispertion plan for Brussels, concentrating more flights above their Noordrand.
The bells protest was started by the Abdij van Grimbergen last Monday. As from next week, all other churches in the Greater Grimbergen Area will join the protest. Local mayor Linda Mertens says that the whole community supports the protest.
