Malaysia B772 flight MH17 AMS-KUL downed near Donetsk, Ukraine

Re: Malaysia B772 AMS-KUL flight crashed near Donetsk, Ukrai
I don't find anything about the separatist's interview on Corriere's website.
2 SU-25's were shot down today within the 40km radius from the crash site. Ukraine is infringing its own promises.

The other plane with remains of victims, not visible on FR24, is an Australian Boeing C-17.Passenger wrote:NAF22 is nearing Eindhoven at this very moment (ETA is 15h50)
Prince Laurent of Belgium accompanied 20 family members of Belgian victims at Eindhoven military airport.

As a small side story, I give you the link of one our great western media sources , FOX .
Nice picture
http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/07/23 ... n-ukraine/
Looking at the picture, it seems that the Ukranian defence industry has done a great job by upgrading Su-25 ...
( this is sarcasm, I agree )
By the way: for those who did do the effort to listen at the other side: remember that the Russians claim that a Su-25 would have shot down MH17 with an AAM.
This is also supported by other "reliable" reports that the damage on the fuselage is just the opposite of a BUK system, but instead typical of a AAM .
We did read the reaction that a Su-25 doesn't reach 10 km , but sadly enough the person who put this reaction here did not do the effort to look further than wikipedia, otherwise he would have seen that further developments of the Su-25 have a ceiling of... 10 km.
OK, just details, I know.
Independent sources, intelligence reports, international experts... I have great trouble believing those stories. ( including the Russians
)
Yep, no heard feelings that I am beating Flanker / NCB in ludicrous messages.
In the mean time, respect for PM Najib, reading this analysis:

Eleven identification experts of the Disaster Victim Identification Team (DVI) of the Belgian police are on their way to Hilversum to assist their Dutch colleagues.
The Dutch air safety board said the cockpit voice recorder from flight MH17 had been successfully downloaded and contained "valid data from the flight".
The "black box" flight-data recorders are being examined at the headquarters of the UK's Air Accidents Investigation Branch in Farnborough, where they were transported from Kharkiv by a Belgian Air Force Embraer 145.

passive radar guided air to air missle would hit the nose where the radar array is."
Thanks for posting that photo showing the part of the airliner it came from.
This is a very important piece of evidence of air to air attack, rather than a missile if seen in conjunction with the Russian military data of the Ukraine military aircraft "popping up" in front of the airliner just before it disappeared from radar. It also helps explain some other info released.
If the Su-25 that popped up from low altitude in front of the airliner fired AA missiles, they would confront the airliner from the forward sector and damage would most likely be in the forward part of the aircraft. The cockpit looks like it was completely riddled, there is probably very little chance the pilots even had time to react, let alone send a distress message.
From that angle of approach, it's likely the airline pilots didn't see the Su-25 attacking them and probably didn't see the missiles(s) until maybe the last second before the explosion which killed them. I'll bet the cockpit voice recorders wont have anything more from the pilots, at that last moment, than exclamation of shock.
This could explain why the airliner slowed down the last couple of minutes. With the cockpit wrecked and the pilots dead, the throttle mechanism or something else may have been affected, which slowed down the airliner. It could of flew steady for a short while as it was breaking up.
Targeting the front of the airliner had to be planned and was why the Su-25 attacked from the front and below, out of view from the airliner's cockpit. They wanted to reduce the chance as much as possible that the pilots would be able to ID their attacker and get a message out, or even say something that could be recorded on the voice recorder. They wanted instant decapitation of the airliner.

Damage in the front points to a gound missile whiks AtoA would target the engines.

Please stop making a fool out of yourself with your 5 posts on this forum and accusing somebody of being a propagandist and/or using aliases to make a point. If you had taken the time to check my profile you'd have noticed in my older posts that I have different writing style/sarcasm/grammar mistakes etc..mooney058 wrote:

And please, could GRU improve your english/style so it does not sound like russian.
About video posted, and the so-called nonsense spread: THIS IS PART OF AN OFFICIAL PRESS CONFERENCE FROM SPOKESPERSON FOR THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF STATE. Sure does not show the whole conference, just an interesting part where somebody from ASSOCIATED PRESS asks some difficult (equals critical -what journalists should always be-) questions. Sure, it was not Psaki answering the questions as usual, but this one seemed even dumber in handling tough to-the-point questions.
Re: Malaysia B772 AMS-KUL flight crashed near Donetsk, Ukrai
I watched the extract - what dumb did you see/hear in the replies? You expected names of satellites and prints from awacs to be presented at the press conference? I might have posted, reacted 5 times, but I did react to obvious bias presentation of events - go through all the post from that person and you seethe obvious picture emerging. I may not know much about aviation, which I like and that is why I read these forums, but the recognisable propaganda from the Russian agencies made me react. Im sure people could see this as well, it was a spontaneous reaction to the accusations. when I was a soviet citizen, I used to believe the propaganda. Now it is being fed to RU population - the way it is presented, people on the streets of Russia Are genuinely concerned that the "bad west" would come and attack them. Putin's regime is cleptocratic and the only way it can still gather support inside RU is by making external enemies - no matter how many human lives it will take. Putins regime does not have an exit strategy - kadafi's fate awaits him if he looses the power. One conflict after other created - Georgia, Chechnya, etc. what is next?Squelsh wrote:Please stop making a fool out of yourself with your 5 posts on this forum and accusing somebody of being a propagandist and/or using aliases to make a point. Just saying she did not handle the questions in the smartest manner.
Two Boeing 777 from the same airline disappear within 4 months, both in very controversial circumstances.. I like to keep my options open and hear/see more proof when a superpower virtually immediatly claims which party is responsible for the latest catastrophe.
If all concrete evidence they have is what is posted online by a rebel leader (which has many fake accounts bearing his name on the internet) then I advise them to come out in public with more than just that when accusing any party or holding press conferences. How many more NSA scandals does one need?

Correction:
if somebody would click now the link of that FOX news article, we see a different picture: gone are the 2 fancy SU- 30 jets .
I had already some itching feeling that Langley read this forum
Oh yeah, don't bother to listen at that John Bolton creature: it only blames ... Obama of the entire tragedy in Ukrain. In one go, they add Syria and Iran.

Update from the Dutch Onderzoeksraad (Investigation Board) - 24th July 2014:
"...The Dutch Safety Board gave permission to move wreckage on the crashsite, after a request about this received by the Safety Board through the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). This in order to be able to salvage the remaining victims. The moving of the wreckage will be carried out by local parties..."

Why is the Dutch Safety Board leading this investigation? They have a conflict of interest at best.
Re: Malaysia B772 AMS-KUL flight crashed near Donetsk, Ukrai
Please explain why! I assume you consider it should be done by the separatists under the supervision of your dear Wladimir.

Flanker, I asked you before, please refrain from posting in this thread. Your comments are very disrespectfull to the ones that passed away. And personally, it makes me sick.
IMO this thread should be sereen, and share the things we see on tv or the net, or hear otherwise. But in respect to what has happened. Please do not post complete BS, or comment the other way just to create a big discussion that is beside the point, just because you just like to throw shit in the fan.
I am personally deeply touched by this event, and I would like to treat this subject with the greatest and deepest respect. PLEASE do the same!
