Wich aircrafts do, you think SNBA will use to replace their ageing AVRO's?
maybe some with a little more A319, when i see the beautiful work that snba do with only 3 A 319, with a well managed use of these machines ( eg in july , to nice saturday flights with more demand, they put 319 on this line)
maybe 3 more , then 6 a 319 will be perfect to manage flgjits to Moscow, IST, tel aviv, casa, and maybe more
then some avro 'll be replace with the ERJ 170/75/190/195 ?
good luck snba, you are a example for many .
evrything is thinking .

My guess goes also to the embraer group, although i hope that they would maybe also lease a few more bigger airbusses to cope with higher demand sometimes. Let's say that next to the embraers, 2 A320's and 1 A321 would be very welcome
You never know when demand would rise suddenly! (nice to dream, isn't it 8) )

I think it's going to be the ERJ, these jungle jets are cheap, safe, silent and very well build. Just to bad they don't boast a Fokker logo
. Altough the Fokker 70 and the Fokker 100 equiped with PW800s, glare frame and a slightly updated EFIS would be better then the ERJs, also they would have to be the most expensive but the best regiojets...
If they choose for the Embraer 170-195, suited for 70 to 110 passengers, they would have 4 sizes in 1 family ...
Embraer 170 : 3700km
Embraer 175 : 3350km
Embrear 190 : 4075km
Embraer 195 : 3350km
If they choose for the Airbus 318-321, suited for 100-220 passengers, they would also have 4 sizes in 1 family ...
Airbus A318 : 6000km with 100 passengers
Airbus A319 : 6800km with 124 passengers
Airbus A320 : 5550km with 150 passengers
Airbus A321 : 5550km with 185 passengers
If you look closely, you will notice that these 2 families are very different. The Embraer's have a smaller range and can carry less passengers ...
The Airbus family has significantly larger range and payload capacity.
The big question now is what family will suit SNBA the most ... My personal guess : The Embrear's. Why ? If they truelly needed the range and capacity of the Airbusses, they would have expressed their interest in them by now. They obviously seem happy with their 319's ...
So my guess is that the fleet-renewal will consist of some A319's and the Embraer family.

Greetz,
Don't dream your life, live your dream !!!
First of all I think that SNBA will have to lease different planes than just one or two types. THey just need more variaty. It's nice to have only one type (100% commonality) but you also need planes that have different ranges and different capacities.
Therefore I think that SNBA will choose between 3 possibilities:
1: a mix of ERJ170 and A32s
2: a mix of ERJ170 and B737NG's
3: a mix of ERJ170 and B717
For the smaller capacity planes I think that they'll be choosing the ERJ170. It's a quite plane (saw it at Le Bourget), it can land on short runways, and is very nice inside, and not too expensive I think.
For the wider jets, it's much more difficult to know which planes they will take.
It'll all depends on which company will make the better deal !!
Personally I hope they'll be going for option number 2 or 3, but well that's my own thoughts

I voted Tu-334, just for fun.
But more seriously, I think that Embraer has a big chance, not only with the 170/190, but also with the 145: SN badly needs a plane with a smaller capacity than the Avro RJ85. So, for commonality: Embraer 145 and 170. plus a few more A319s for medium haul destinations (IST, MOW, TLV, CMN, etc.)

Kind regards,
V-Bird, don't forget Denim Air Maintenance in Eindhoven that is also certified for Fokker maintenance, they are together with Fokker Stork behind the start of the future 50 program since they fly a lot of Fokker 50's. Within 24 months they will expand with Fokker 70 and/or Fokker 100's and for sure they will also be certified for maintenance. SNBA will choose for Embraer I think, due to the lower costs.
Here the article from Air Transport about the Fokker program:
Fokker Services and Denim Air launch Fokker 50 push
20 May 2003
Fokker Services today launched its Future50 remarketing programme for the Fokker 50 turboprop in an effort to boost customers and has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Denim Air and Pembroke's Aircraft Financing and Trading (AFT) to remarket the aircraft.
The Stork subsidiary is working on the initiative with suppliers including Pratt & Whitney Canada, Honeywell, Dowty Propellers, Messier Dowty and Aircraft Braking Systems. As part of Future50 these companies will guarantee their support for the aircraft for at least ten years.
Fokker Services vice president of marketing and sales Erik Goedhart says: "Operators want the best transport solution to fit their business plan. Under the Future50 programme, operators can get a tailored total care programme, good technical dispatch and a fixed competitive fee based on flight hours."
The Future50 programme follows on two months after the company launched a similar programme Future100 for its Fokker 100 jet product.
Additionally the company signed a LOI to work with AFT and Denim Air to assist with Future50. Denim Air has been working to develop its business outside of charter work. It operates a fleet of nine Fokker 50s and eight Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 aircraft.
Denim Air CFO Erik de Wild adds: "We feel that the market for Fokker 50s has been left behind. The product is very good, but due to the circumstances [Fokker's bankruptcy] not many carriers use the aircraft. It is a very competitive aircraft against the Dash 8 and the ATRs, we believe it is a better product."
He adds that the relationship with the partners is that AFT would provide the financing support for the fleet, Denim Air could provide pilot training and could wet-lease the aircraft while Fokker Services would handle maintenance. De Wild says that there is an opportunity to market this as a package for start-ups.

Also.... we have..... ehmm
Well don't forget about Rekkof. If someone needs let say 40+ Fokker 70s, they will be build brand new and even (at little extra charge) with PW800s and a new Efis system. Also when composing large area's of the fuselage with GLARE this will make the F70 better then anything in the regiojet market!. Consignments have been made with EADS, Rolls Royce, Stork, BAe systems, Bombardier and Deutsche Airbus to swiftly restart production when needed. A Fokker 70 fleet of 40 machines can be build en delivered within 48 months!
