Re: BRU 05/06/2014
I was on the Delhaize parking lot when AF1 departed. Lighting conditions were good ... click, click, click.
My pictures would have been similar to the one of Benighted, but unfortunately I had been distracted by something else when AF1 appeared and so I had not properly checked the settings of my camera. Thinking I was shooting in P or Av, I was actually shooting in M at 1/125sec f/4,0 ISO200. As a result my pictures are hopelessly overexposed. They're in RAW, but nevertheless I can't seem to correct the problem in Lightroom. Oh well, stuff happens. I'm sure plenty of other people will have covered the AF1 departure from all possible angles.

Hi
Nice guys, great to see most of you where able to make some shots of it for the rare occasion Airforce One visits Belgium. We where lucky to have it twice at Brussels in a short time but I doubt there will be a 3th time in one year time and in fact I expect it to take a number of years before we will see it again at Belgium.
Here some from my side, all G7 summit departures.
Republique Francaise Dassault Falcon 7X 'COTAM-001' departing the G7 summit with president Francois Hollande

Bundesrepublik Deutschland (Luftwaffe) Airbus A319-CJ departing with Angela Merkel after having attended the G7 summit.

Airforce One on the way out of Brucargo ramp ...

Airforce One + SAM44

Airforce One backtracking Runway 25R

and there he goes, not in the best conditions but yeah ...

'SAM44' following the tracks of Airforce One

Japanese Airforce 1 airborne of 25R on it's way to Italy after G7 summit

'Japanese Airforce 2' likewise JF1 made an extremely short take off run and a high climb rate as it departed elmost empty from 25R...

'CANFORCE-1' departing with Canadian PM back home.

Best regards, Yannick
