Re: Jetairfly in 2014
OO-JBG set to return today from YMX after Winter lease to CanJet.
Re: Jetairfly in 2014
It is strange that Jetairfly leases out some of its planes at a time they have a demand that justifies keeping them for their own flights. Now Jetairfly is hiring planes from other companies!sdbelgium wrote:OO-JBG set to return today from YMX after Winter lease to CanJet.

Re: Jetairfly in 2014
Quite logical actually. Sending planes oversea (together with some pilots, so sort of a wet lease), and hiring a subcharter from time to time gives a higher revenue than keeping the planes here, and having use for them only when the subcharters would be needed.

Apparently it is a total of 23, it seems their webpage is outdated according to their Inflight magazine summer 2014 (p. 83) source : http://issuu.com/marketair/docs/jetairf ... _los_lr/83JAF737 wrote:Yes, and as things change all the time in aviation...sn26567 wrote:Jetairfly itself has a webpage dedicated to its fleet: https://www.jetairfly.com/en/legal/our-fleet
There you will read that in 2014 the fleet consists of 22 aircraft:
1 extra B737-800 OO-JFD on lease from FlyDubai
And 1 full time B737-700 OO-JOS
22+2 = 24 for summer 2014.
OO-VAC left (?)...this was one of their original start-up aircraft and ex-Sobelair. Anyone info where it went to?

Re: Jetairfly in 2014
To give a complete list, the Jetairfly fleet looks like this for the summer season of 2014:
(Again, I did count OO-JFD as part of the fleet, since it will fly for Jetairfly, but note that this is a dry-lease airplane.)
Code: Select all
2 Embraers 190
1 Boeing 787
1 Boeing 767
14 Boeing 737-800 (among which, one dry-lease, OO-JFD)
5 Boeing 737-700
TOTAL : 23 Airplanes

Re: Jetairfly in 2014
With OO-JFD included (as in their own inflight magazine; see my prev. post) I still count 14 Boeing 737-800 iso 15 which gives a total of 23. Can you give us the missing registration of the B737-800? Another lease or another one from the factory? Thx
Re: Jetairfly in 2014
My bad, I just noticed I miscounted one.
So 14 737-800, including one dry lease, OO-JFD.
(The post above will be edited too.)

What's wrong with OO-JOS? Always planned to do some flights but then nothing anymore
Re: Jetairfly in 2014
OO-JOS should be doing the first revenue flight later this week.
Also, for this who would like to know, the LH winter 2014-2015 schedule for Jetairfly.
(with flights to SFB as a novelty)

MBA & ZNZ will return, schedule will be announced later.
OO-JAP will not leave the fleet. TUI Belgium and TUI Netherlands will work a lot closer together, though.

Makes sense since TUI Belgium and TUI Netherlands have merged into TUI Benelux.KriVa wrote:TUI Belgium and TUI Netherlands will work a lot closer together, though.

Well... Not yet they haven't
The wheels are very much in motion, but for now, the two companies still operate pretty independent of each other.
