All SVQ flights left with some serious delay due to an union strike in France,Spain and Portugal.

All SVQ flights left with some serious delay due to an union strike in France,Spain and Portugal.

But of course other companies are also having big delays due to this strike...(HOP!, Air Europa, Brussels Airlines etc)

OK, many planes from Southern Europe had serious delays today, but how can we explain the many delays for planes from the East or the North?

Slot management? The flights to France or the mentioned strike countries from the East are delayed so the slot mangement of the east gets disrupted aswell causing delays.
