They expect 30.000 tonnes from ANA, thus +5%.
Apparently, the NATO pipeline helps having good fuel prices.

how weird fuel prices at CRL aren't as high as those at OST then.
its just the fuel company at OST demanding an extra surcharge per kg and it is allowed because of family relations with the current manager ;)

What's cooking in Moncton (200km North of Halifax)? Fish perhaps?

ET is having problems getting traffic rights ex Belgium. That is reason why they had some flights ex BRU for a certain period, as TNT was objecting these flights. But after a while, TNT also objected on these flights ex BRU. ET has now found a solution ex MST, where they do get the traffic rights to continue their fligths to DXB - HKG and than back to ADD.

MST are just trying to buy time and they should continue to be be face with the slow agony
Don't forget that Ethiopian have secured two new X7's to be supplied during 4Q. and need to fly 24h/7

But if you do not get the necessary traffic rights out of Belgium, you have no choice than look for another airport. They can do without the 24 hours. Look at FRA: closed at night and still attracts new full cargo operators. ET is not the same carrier anymore as 5 or 10 years ago with old aircraft and a schedule that was more no schedule and just fly when it suited them. MST is very eager for new business and for the flowers this is an ok situation.

Here is the information that I received from Marc Genuist, a journalist of Radio Canada (CBC):

Moncton airport lands deal with Israeli cargo airline
C.A.L. will fly from Moncton to Belgium on Sunday, CBC News has learned

The Greater Moncton International Airport opened its expanded runway last fall. The longer runway is intended to help lure larger airplanes, such as the C.A.L. cargo flight that is expected to land in Moncton over the weekend.

The Greater Moncton International Airport has landed a new contract with C.A.L., which will see the Israeli company begin flying from Belgium to Moncton this weekend.

C.A.L. flies two 747 cargo jets and according to the company's website its main routes are between Tel Aviv, Belgium and New York.

One of those airplanes will land at the Moncton airport starting on Sunday.

Both the airline and the airport have confirmed the flight is planned.

However, they say they are still working on getting permission to land in Canada from the federal government.

The airline and airport are both refusing to grant interviews on the new partnership until that has been finalized.

The C.A.L. website says it specializes in exporting fresh Israeli agricultural products. It also imports automobiles, livestock and hazardous materials from all over the world to Israel.

Cargo hub dreams

The Moncton airport has long sought to become an Atlantic cargo hub.

It is almost two years to the day from the last time the airport tried to get a big jet to link up New Brunswick with Europe.

The last experiment was with Cargojet, which was supposed to ship live lobster to Europe.

The airport subsidized that flight for $400,000 but it lasted only eight weeks before the airport got tired of losing money.

The new arrangement with C.A.L. may be more successful than the Cargojet experiment.

This time, the airport has a new $24-million, 3,048-metre (10,000-foot) runway, which was finished last fall.

The new runway allows Moncton to handle the larger cargo jets.

According to the Moncton airport's 2012 annual report, 22,832 metric tonnes of cargo came through the airport in that year compared to 22,760 metric tonnes in 2011.

You see, it takes time. This story with LGG started back in 2011...

Hello

But the ''problems'''of ET are not over yet Just heard that Martinair Cargo is planning to take steps against ET for their swap from LGG to MST for their DXB flights. Martinair is also flying to DXB (Ex AMS). Also MST has some more restrictions compared to LGG (RWY length, opening hours of the airport etc)

Greetings,
All my posted timings are local !

Greetings,
I was wondering how long this would take.... The reason why MP is taking steps has nothing to do with AMS-DXB but it's all about the monopoly ET has on cargo ex ADD. The result has been that ET waas forced to leave The Netherlands twice and it's also why they dopn't fly to AMS though a very big part of the cargo is heading for Aalsmeer (flower auction).

Liege Airport wants to collaborate with Maastricht Aachen Airport

Liege Airport intends to cooperate intensively with Maastricht Aachen Airport. That's what the Belgians said to the Dutch province of Limburg.

For the passenger and business aircraft markets, Liege wants include joint marketing and common schedules. Liege also wants cooperation in the field of aircraft maintenance.

In the cargo market, LGG believes to work more efficiently than MAA, for example because it may be operated at Liege also at night. The Belgians would be happy to see the cargo of MAA coming to Liege.

The Maastricht Aachen Airport has been working for years with difficulty, and will soon be taken over by the Province. Until that acquisition is official on July 1, deputy Twan Beurskens does not want yet anticipate a possible collaboration. According to him, the province had exploratory talks with several airports to discuss the possibilities of a takeover. He does say that precisely the cargo business will determine the future of Maastricht.
