Behind DCS you have an UCF (user control file) for each user. The UCF file is controlled by an airline admin or by the provider (before Atraxis Belgium for SN or Atraxis AG for the other ailrlines). SN took the option to provide the admin rights to Atraxis Belgium before. In the UCF is defined which rights you have into DCS or GDS. It can be admin, superuser, general sales, etc and for which airline.
I doubt very much that a B-air (SN) staff would have access to FR figures.
BTW there was even an option to play the game Tictactoe but we never granted that option.
they use the same user level as swissport loadcontrol and passenger service
atraxis was from swissair btw ;)

Thus, reversely, Ryanair can have a look at Brussels Airlines load factors ? Very useful, I should think.

that will be hard without access to the DCS system.

If Brussels Airlines can look into the Ryanair statistics whilst Ryanair can't do the reverse, it's an unfair advantage, and I wonder how Ryanair allows it.
Of course, that won't stop Ryanair growing at Brussels Airport - and that won't much help Brussels Airlines making a profit this year - or ever ...

Attn CNC
Atraxis Belgium was 50% Sabena and 50% Atraxis AG. Admin for the SN UCF-users was done by Atraxis Belgium.
For me it is NOT normal that SN users can access data from other carriers because the system allows restrictions.
If I would know that SN has access to other data from other carriers, I would strongly complain with the provider of the system. I think it is IT company EDS which took over Atraxis AG.

From the ad it looks that Charleroi is no longer Brussels (South). Brussels now really means Brussels!

I really don't care where they all come from, but usually a stewardess passes some interview before they're hired. I can only believe after being so succesfull for years on and on, the standards are very high and probably being checked continiously.
What I find amazing in my company, is how childish they sometimes can be with those checks, but that's how you get all colleagues to the sort of same standard, it's only up to them selves how they flavour their own personality towards the customers. For me there is a big difference between all airlines and usually what plays most is the atmosphere towards the group coming from the supiriors, as in the purser. (I sometimes see the same colleagues unhappy or less motivated, purely due to the sccm...)

My Ryanair experiences were pleasant. My experience with Thai were great. With Air China I did miss my pepper to flavour those stweardesses ;) And with Swiss best overall, SN coming close ;)

Did Ryanair really changed EBCI's name to Charleroi? Now they have to edit their sign/logo again... ;)

Actually, it's now "Brussels-Charleroi" and "Brussels-Zaventem" for Ryanair.

Not on the ad shown above: there it is Brussels and Charleroi tout court!

I think that it's time for them to start using the real names of the airports and drop all the other names they have come up with in the past.

I think it would fit well with the more serious attitude they want to show AND it will prevent confusion amongst their (new) passengers they want to attact through all sort of different channels and which may not be familiar with ryanair's method of naming their destinations, because it's only a matter of time before stories will pop up about passengers being surprised that their flight to Brussels didn't actually land in Brussels, but Charleroi (or vice versa).

PS: thanks for cleaning this topic!

I just want to share my first experience with Ryanair at BRU:

Back from Lisbon flying FR.
- Out on saturday: 13 empty seats left
- Back on tuesday: just 9 empty seats.

Note:
Price: 76 euro, 1 bag, taxes and creditcard costs included. :D
Very friendly staff. :o
All flights on time. 8-)
Brussels Airport did a good job in Terminal A.
