oh really I find Inquirer's posts really interesting. He is showing a good knowledge when it comes to business strategy and common sense...sean1982 wrote:So why is it that my Posts systematically get deleted while inquirers who's post are filled with assumptions and guesses and things that are factually untrue with the sole purpose of putting FR in a bad light of day are allowed to be up. There is NOTHING in that whole post that has to do with that press conference and the only thing I did was point out the lies which are:

Re: The Brussels Airlines press conference of 30 January 201
If I was Brussels Airlines I would add 2-3 A330s this year and put 1 on Africa and 1-2 on North America… They still do not serve any destinations in the USA that are not already served by others…. How about a flight to Dallas or Houston, Boston, Denver, LAX or SFO…
These long haul flights will help feed their European network while none of those added european destinations feed any long haul because of their late arrival time in BRU!
I personally worked for SN for around 15yrs… that included around 10 at the Boston station. We filled that bird every night and most were connecting pax beyond BRU… many also were inbound connections from all over the US. I think people will have a nicer time connection through BOS than JFK! BOS is also about 90 minutes less use of the aircraft than JFK…
Let Ryanair, Vueling and anyone else just bring more pax to BRU… thats all good for the airport and in smaller part for SN.

Not exactly a big major change and not really related with the press conference, but it is related to the service SN offers and that has been mostly discussed in this topic recently. SN is changing its supplier of sandwiches for their b.flex+ economy class. As from now they will be served a range of Tamarind Foods quality and fresh sandwiches. Tamarind Foods is a Belgian quality corporate catering company. They supply supermarkets, but also (corporate) restaurants, high-speed train services and VIP business flights.
SN says this is a next step in SN's strategy to offer Belgian quality products to their customers and a response to the trend of healthy food.
Served sandwiches include white and brown bread, multi cereal sandwiches, raisin and walnut sandwiches with “Sambre & Meuse” chicken fillet , “Mozarella & Pesto & sun dried tomatoes”, Brie with honey, etc.

I wonder, do they still offer warm (full) meals during dinner time for example or is it always just a sandwich and a full meal only for the few b.business class pax?

"Belgian quality products" doesn't necessarily mean it has to be always typicall Belgian or only Belgian products/meals.fcw wrote:A very good idea, but....RoMax wrote: SN says this is a next step in SN's strategy to offer Belgian quality products to their customers .RoMax wrote: Serve sandwiches with “Mozarella & Pesto & sun dried tomatoes”, Brie with honey, etc.
