Nuclear Security Summit Amsterdam 85 worldleaders

Post by Tristar1 »

March 25 and 26, 2014 the Netherlands will host the Nuclear Security Summit. This event will bring lots of heads of state and other VIPs to The Hague. Expected are 53 participating countries and 4 organizations like UN as well as 40 government aircraft and bizjets.

58 worldleaders (Obama, Putin, Merkel etc) are expected and 5000 delegates.

Most will arrive at Schiphol on Saturday and Sunday.

My site has all the info you need as a spotter for this event.

Security will be tight around the airport. If you intend to come over could you please fill in the one-question survey on my site?
This helps to give authorities an idea about the number of people watching aircraft. This might help to convince authorities to create special facilities for spotters.

Hi

Looks like it is about to turn out a complete disaster for spotters ... maybe this summit is just TOO big ... if it where only the half of the worldleaders that will be present now, it might still be possible to just 'be' around but now ...
I take my chances on Obama at Brussels but sure don't count on it at AMS. I can only hope I see some OTHER visitors in AMS (Japan B747, Korean B747, Royal Jordanian A340,...) but I'm afraid not ...

Greets, Yannick
