I notice that the Parisian region is severely affected: is the weather really worse overthere or has it something to do with capacity of their airspace?

Wind at CDG at this time is 19029G42 (runway 26 in use), gusts included crosswind to 39,5 knots. 27 knots crosswind without the gusts.Inquirer wrote:I notice that the Parisian region is severely affected: is the weather really worse overthere or has it something to do with capacity of their airspace?

Re: BRU 24/12/2013
It probably has to do with the crosswinds. Wind in CDG and BRU are coming from 190° (south). CDG has 4 runways but all east-west (26L/R, 27L/R) whilst BRU has runway 19 wich is facing straight into the wind.Inquirer wrote:I notice that the Parisian region is severely affected: is the weather really worse overthere or has it something to do with capacity of their airspace?
With gusts up to 40 kts, this exceeds the crosswind limit on most aircraft.

Will replace PT-TPB, which was a replacement aircraft for the OO-NGI due to late delivery
