Bologna Airport has a new follow me car : Lamborghini Aventador.
White with red blocks!
Sure no lack of funds in Italy

Maybe a no news but quite e remark...

The Italian police also has two of them. Or should I say "had", because one them already crashed. I hope this doesn't happen to the one of Bologna Airport.

Lamborghini is rather famous in Italy for providing the Police with a car once in a while. Maybe they have been so generous to provide the airport one too.

The airport is sponsor for the 50th Anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini. The car is there from May 6th untill May 19. Staff needed special training, before they could use this car.

This is the throttle lever, and if you push it all the way forward and click this side-button, you activate the after-burners. All the way back activates reverse thrust. You can select manual braking or auto-brakes.
The flaps are drive-by-wire and the oleo-pneumatic shock-absorbers provide stability at all speeds
