Yes indeed, but I just named all the non-UK network carriers. But indeed, afterwards I read it in one of the ATW news letters in my mailbox, but I didn't edit my post to add that remark.
sn26567 wrote:Furthermore, SAS is using a CRJ200 wet-leased from Sterling-Cimber on the route, thus low costs. Maybe even a Q400 is too big for SN (especially thrice-daily), which suffers from not having smaller planes.

SN operated into NCL 3/daily for some years (since early 2010?) with the E145's and indeed the step to Q400 was probably way too big for NCL. They can partly back up the loss of NCL with EDI, but of course, being able to serve both would be an advantage. But 5 daily Q400 to NCL/EDI (as would have been the case this summer) seems quite a lot for SN serving a part of the O&D-market (BD Regional also has its share) and a limited long haul network.

It is indeed sad to see NCL disappears.
Still don't understand why SN gives up NCL. Years ago our company had a plant over there(sold in the meantime, but still operating) and I (and several colleagues)used to travel quite regularly to NCL. LF on the Avro flights was mostly at least 60-70%.(evening flts)
If I am not mistaken SN even had 4 flts a day to NCL Many of our UK counterparts used BRU as a hub for onward travel within Europe .SN had a very good reputation in the area at that time. So,what went wrong ? Economic recession in NCL-area,triggering less demand for airtravel? SN and BRU becoming less interesting for NCL businesses because of reducing of frequencies? More promotion by KL/AF and less by SN? Probably a combination of these factors.. but the result is another dot disappearing from the SN route map.

Austrian Airlines adds one daily Brussels-Vienna flight

An extra daily flight between Brussels and Vienna boosts Austrian Airlines’ service to four daily roundtrips from May 5. The new connections leave from Vienna at 12.40 and from Brussels at 15.00.

Several new transfers open up with the enhanced service: e.g. links from Brussels with Eastern European destinations such as Budapest, Zagreb, Sofia and Bucharest. Transfers from Brussels to the Austrian cities of Innsbruck, Klagenfurt and Graz are also improved.

The flight will be codeshared with Brussels Airlines.

Arrival in BRU at 14:20, that's already better for IAD-connections than the current shedule of 6 daily (altough still quite an early arrival...but apperently SN likes to start boarding very early on their long haul flights, so that's already helping  ), the next flight out of VIE doesn't arrive until 16:55 which is too late. OS's flight to IAD leaves at 10:30, so people that want to leave later have to travel through FRA or BRU.
Probably not the main reason for this extra frequency (as they don't even mention connections to IAD in the 'announcement'), but it's always helping when there are more destinations with propper connections.

All of which will be Q400, instead of A319/Q400 now.

Yes was planned to go from 6/week to 11/week with A319/Q400, but it will be 10/week Q400 now. The reason is a big capacity reduction in Croatia's network and fleet (they are not doing well...).

The good news is that ORD goes from daily 763ER to daily T7 as from June 6.
August will see 3 UA T7's, a first time I believe. So as from June 6, it will be 2 or 3 daily T7 for the rest of the summer season (if IAD doesn't get downgraded with SN starting that route 5 weekly). In the first months of the new summer season tough, we will not see any UA T7's.

Purely based on capacity, the 764ER is almost only a reduction in premium seats as the 764 is not as premium equiped as the UA T7's.

But these changes to these 3 routes were already mentioned a few times before. But airlineroute reported two new changes to the UA S13 European shedule today, so all the previous changes are mentionned again underneath "Previously reported changes:". That often creates the idea that the changes are new, if you miss that small sentence.

Jet Airways to extend code-share with Etihad to Mumbai-Brussels-Newark route

Jet Airways, which is in the process of finalising a stake sale deal with Etihad Airways, plans to extend its code share agreement with the Abu Dhabi-based carrier to the Mumbai-Brussels-Newark route.

Separately, Jet is rumoured to be selling its Brussels slots to Etihad.

Besides, Jet will also dry lease three of its Boeing 777s to the Turkish Airlines for one year.

Didn't Jet also sold their LHR slots to Etihad? But on a sale-and-leaseback deal, so Jet is still using them. Do they plan the same at BRU? Anyway, this all seems like some serious preperation of Etihad eventually taking over parts of Jet's West bound routes.

I believe these were the 777's flying for Thai? These were supposed to return to Jet Airways, but they don't need them (they only need a few 777's for their LHR routes). So these will now go to Turkish instead (as TK needed more widebodies than they could get from new orders this summer).
