Probably won't be updated until Jan or Feb 2013MR_Boeing wrote: I didn't check it again now, but some days ago there were still several routes loaded with RJ85 for S13 (many of these are now operated by Q400 and some by RJ100). Maybe it's just because they didn't decided yet what to do exactly with the capacity on these routes, and as a result loaded RJ85's because of it's intermediate capacity (situated between Q400 and RJ100)?
Re: BRU Summer 2013 - Latest News
Lithuania is talking with SN about additional flights between BRU and Vilnius in preperation of their EU presidency, but these negotiations don't seem succesfull. They agreed on more attractive flight hours, but not on additional flights.
They are also talking with airBaltic (which already stated they may expand again out of other Baltic states than Latvia).
SN operates 6 weekly to VNO, RYR out of CRL operates the route 3 weekly, not enough according to Lithuania (they want two daily during the period of their EU presidency), but negotiations don't seem to be a succes yet.

Re: BRU Summer 2013 - Latest News
SN seems to resume flights to Palermo as from next summer. If I'm correct PMO was not served anymore this summer?
As from 31 March:
As from May 15:
So 1 weekly as from the start of S13 and 2 weekly in the real high season. I assume this will be summer-only again, like Porto, Faro, Catania,...
And Catania was mentioned as 1 weekly (see previous page of this topic), but this seems to be 3 weekly and FLR which was loaded as RJ85 operated is now loaded as RJ100.
As from 31 March:

Re: BRU Summer 2013 - Latest News
EY has requested slots for double daily flight, except on Wednesdays there will only be 1 flight. Someone more info about this?
For the cargo: DHL will fly 4x a week between CVG and BRU with 767-300F

Jetairfly is looking to start their own operations to Kinshasa. At this moment they are looking for possibilities, it is not final yet.

Indeed, it was mentioned yesterday in another topic:Atlantis wrote:Jetairfly is looking to start their own operations to Kinshasa. At this moment they are looking for possibilities, it is not final yet.

Tough currently the current bilateral agreement doesn't allow it as long as SN operates daily into FIH.

Hi,
Remember some years ago members where saying FIH with B767 woudn't make money as cargo was very important .. will they use their brand new B787 on this of their old TUC,.. a triangular to nairobi or so,.. don't think the average tourist like a stop in Kinshasa ...
How is cargo comparable of the B787 btw..
Will they finally introduce tourism in Congo also ? Riu Kinshasa or so..
If Arke flies Suriname why can't we fly FIH,..
Strange new destinations IMHO, now even TCB KEF and Biarritz,.. competing FR ?
Looking forward to these destinations and how long they will make it..
JAF competing on SN's main destinations, how much crazier can we go

Re: BRU Summer 2013 - Latest News: routes, airlines
Does RYR operate VCE out of CRL? In that case I suppose they couldn't handle the way RYR wa trying to keep the LCC pax and SN tries to keep the other pax (they have quite some capacity on VCE recently).

They operate CRL-TSF.MR_Boeing wrote:Does RYR operate VCE out of CRL? In that case I suppose they couldn't handle the way RYR wa trying to keep the LCC pax and SN tries to keep the other pax (they have quite some capacity on VCE recently).

Thanks, should have said Venice in general btw, instead of asking for VCE, of course they don't operate there.sdbelgium wrote: They operate CRL-TSF.

Re: BRU Summer 2013 - Latest News: routes, airlines
And very cheap too, as you could guess. 15 Euro or less, one way. Return with Air One + Brussels Airlines is more around 200 euro.
Re: BRU Summer 2013 - Latest News: routes, airlines
AirLituanica (new airline) will launch up to 2 daily flights between Vilnius and Brussels in spring 2013.
http://www.baltic-course.com/eng/good_f ... ?doc=67158
Brussels Airlines currently operates the route 6 weekly and Lithuania wants SN to reshedule their flights to evening flights and/or go double daily. SN doesn't want to do that unless they get a warrently of 1 million euro in the case they are not profitable or don't get a loadfactor of at least 85%.
At least, that's what 'government sources' say.
