Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there are lots of aircraft coming to the FlyIn of Schaffen Next weekend (11 & 12 Of August?)
What are the special aircraft visiting?

If you look at the list, there is a DH84 dragon on there....

I've seen that they have had up to 450 aircraft visiting 10 years ago... how many will be visiting this weekend? Only 100 or so are in the list?
Do other aircraft that are not listed come to Schaffen?

Mine has every chance of showing up, as I'm based very close, and more than interested. As I have the luxury of seeing out the meteo until the last minute, I have not registered yet. But my little ULM is not really an interesting aeroplane, not at least for the average aviation enthusiast. The interesting visitors will have registered, sure enough. With more or less acceptable weather, there might well be some 500 visiting planes, but the vast majority will be weight-shifters, 3-axis microlights, C152, C172, PA28.

BTW if you want to spot/see/photograph rare and/or historical planes, you might wish to visit EBZR the week after.
