Many clouds and a lot of haze the last days. Royal Air Force Airbus MRTT ZZ330 was around a few times, probably visiting Hannover, but I couldn´t find it in the sky
. Still looking for a passable picture, but around 95% crappy , but I keep trying

Re: Contrail spotting May 2012
Hi,
Not many pics through April and the start of May due to either bad weather or lack of movements.
Last saturday managed to capture this one in the evening when the heatwaves had dissapeared, making for some favourable conditions.
13/05/12
18:57: SQC7334 BRU-ORD FL340 9V-SFG

Weather forcast looking great for the coming week, my main aim to capture the TNT 772F in/out of Liege that usually passes over routing west at dawn and back east at dusk.
Thanks,
James

Re: Contrail spotting May 2012
Hello, some pictures from the last couple of days. As the sky was always hazy, most pics suffer. Today I managed to get the RAF ZZ330, but due to it´s grey colour it was virtually invisible and the resulting pictures terrible
. Tomorrow we expect about 30' Celsius
so conditions won´t improve.
Thanks for the nice pictures

After some research and re-examination of the original picture I change the identity to P4-IAS, the Fokker which was put out of service and returned to the Netherlands. Thanks for the hint, so this could be corrected

Hi James
I saw the TNT BOEING 777 on radar today passing Ireland going west at 06.10 and at this time 21.20 it is just passing Manchester on its way back to Belgium.
Most aircraft coming from the USA are routing into the UK AROUND MANCHESTER and routing southeast towards LONDON AND THEN TURNING EAST.
Hope the winds change and they might route a lot more south
A LOT OF HAZY HERE IN THE SOUTH

Hi DC10MD11,
Nice capture of the TNT, it came over my way the other day but the flight was delayed so it was dark when it passed over . I would love to get a nice pic of this livery incase UPS buys the airline and changes the orange into brown
I woke up early this morning (5am) and got loads of pics, most trans-atlantic were routing on the UN20 airway and I was able to capture the SIA25 A380. The pics are all still on the camera though but I will try to upload them when the weather becomes unsettled.
All the best,
James
