KLM Cancels Abuja & Kano Service from June 2012

Post by sn26567 »

AF and KLM do not always expand in Africa. They also sometimes cancel destinations. Airline Route just published this news:

As per 16APR12 GDS timetable and inventory display, KLM starting 01JUN12 is cancelling service to Abuja and Kano, starting 01JUN12. The airline currently operates 3 times a week on Amsterdam – Abuja – Kano – Amsterdam tri-angle routing with A330-200.

Schedule until 30MAY12:

Code: Select all

KL577 AMS1430 – 1950ABV2120 – 2225KAN2325 – 0650+1AMS 332 135

KLM launched service to Kano in 1970s and Abuja from 29OCT00.

Kano has also been a Sabena destination, but Abuja was never a destination of a Belgian airline.
