Meals on Jetaifly worth the money?

Post by fretn »

Flying with JAF from CRL to TFS, it's a morning flight, departing at 6.30. Is it worth buying breakfast on this flight? Is it a hot one? Or should I just pass it?

thx in advance

It's the same kind of breakfast as on European Brussels Airlines B.Flex.
I think you only get a hot meal if you book Vip/service plus and in economy on the PM flight if I'm not mistaken :?: .
It's a typical small BF (pastry, bread, jam, yoghurt,...) In my opinion it's worth the money because coffee and as much soft drinks as you want are included. If you rather buy a frozen sandwich (if they aren't sold out yet) a coffee and a coke on the flight you'll spend more and if you buy something in the airport you'll spend even more ;-). But some will disagree...
You can always bring your own breakfast and buy drinks after the security check (but then again you'll probably spend at least the same amount ;-)

Of course, I'm a bit biased. However, I do think the breakfasts are worth the money on our flights. (although I haven't seen the new menus yet, not that much will have changed).
The breakfasts are always cold meals. unless for VIP Selection passengers.
Whether the PM meal is cold or hot depends on destination and date.

Thanks Regi, but I'll pass. I just had enough to pay for my flights as a student (€220, Ryanair was around the same price with bags & stuff). Free lodging at the island ;)

Oh, dear, now you've mentioned the high fee airline!

Prepare for being questioned on your reasons by a certain member as to why you've dared to opt for a tiny little airline like Jetairfly over such a reliable one like Ryanair ....

I'm not really a Ryanair-person. I don't want to be checked if my luggage exactly weighs 10kg, also hand luggage is not enough for a week (on a beach holiday: towels, sandals, ...) & this way you support a local company. Furthermore I liked their product for a charter, so the choice was quickly made.

From very recent experience, breakfast on JAF is cold. For a little less money you can have a full breakfast at the DeliFrance of the departure hall of Brussels Airport: two croissants (or whatever else you like), a coffee and an orange juice.

How about breakfast @ CRL? Any good spots? Will it be open? Flight leaves at 06.15
