BEst airline schedules website / software ?
I would like to know which website do you use if you want to check airline schedules. There are, of course, many websites around, but most if not all of them are booking systems. Often they are designed to provide you the cheapest option between point A and B, and are not intended to provide you a simple list of all possible choices, including flight numbers, equipment used etc.
I think this was actually easier in the 90's. Some airlines had downloadable software which were pretty much a home-user acces to the Amadeus information system. Boy was THAT great !
I am currently using mostly dohop, kayak, http://www.quicktrip.com/ (probably the best, IMHO) but perhaps there are other options.
Again, this question is NOT about booking engines and their relative merits.

www.kvstool.com I use this for a couple of years now, there's not much better available.

kvstool looks great, but the login details and the website is horrible. I understood there is a "free" option using your Flightstats login info, right ?

I use Amadeus:
http://www.amadeus.net/plnext/meb/TimeT ... ANGUAGE=GB
Not so handy, but you can download :
Oneworld:
http://www.oneworld.com/ow/flight-info/ ... timetables
Skyteam:
http://www.skyteam.com/en/your-trip/Ser ... imetables/
Star:

That's exactly what the [Timetable] function in the KVS Tool does:AOMD88 wrote:I would like to know which website do you use if you want to check airline schedules. No (longer ?) a free limited access to KVS Tool thus ?
I also remember having heard about such an access a couple of years ago.

Yes, they used to have "Lite" version, with limited access. This was removed about 1,5-2 years ago, IIRC.

Re: BEst airline schedules website / software ?
try using
http://www.flightstats.co.uk
It's very easy, full of additional information and just like KVS, it even has a seat availability checker for remaining seats should you want to try to hop on a certain flight as a stby pax... and what's more, it's all for free.

KVSTool works out the best, IF one is willing to invest their $ into it.
Re: BEst airline schedules website / software ?
Thank you all for your kind answers.
KVS seems great, but I am not willing to spend any money ... so I will just stick to amadeus.net tool. As for flighstats, it may work for some routes/airlines but it seems not for my home airport, nor other searches I have tried.
