I thought yesterday 3/05 the Airbus A330-300 OO-SFW (ex-Air Madrid) should arrive in new colours.

You think that the 3 other A330 will be painted in Zurich instead of Amsterdam ?

I thought that the entire fllet had to be ainted by the QAPS facilities...

The QAPS facilities can only accomodate planes up to the A319 or B737.
Only the Avro's and the A319's where painted by QAPS. The B737's went to the UK.

THe fourth A330's which will soon arrive in Brussels is in Chateauroux as far as I know.

Didn't found the right thread so I post this here.

While browsing through the net I just found this lovely design of a Brussels Airlines livery...

Now such a livery would be a nice update

I just see an AA MD-80 with an UDF and winglets...

Anyway, seems like we're nearing the day all of SN's planes will finally be painted in the same livery for the first time since its foundation, so to say.

Hi,

Euh, I like also the American livery but I won't think LH would agree with a similar livery from the OneWorld Alliance..
We saw a few months ago already some very nice liveries for SN at this site, maybe they must adept one of them,
but don't force SN to a new livery when they finally can finalise their current sheme after X years

CX-B

Note : became this finalisation of their livery through new paintjobs or by exiting the older RJ85 ?

Bralo showed us an American - One world partner livery for a new SN scheme no ?
So I guess LH won't like a metallic based livery for SN as everybody thinks when we see a mettalic plane American ! no ?
Euh,.. what did I miss ? cnc

if you check the site there are pics of SN designs.

Not particularly exciting compared to nowadays, apart from being worn on a B777-300ER (wrongly captioned as 777-200).

For now let's just hope all planes make it to the same livery without too many fixes, dot additions, stickers, and that more planes, especially large ones, start wearing it too! I highly doubt it will be LH's first priority to update the livery once they own 100% of SN.

Hi,

Like shown in a topic few months weeks ago,
and also this is far more beloved then the dull nowadays design.

But I don't think they will soon adapt a new modern SN/Sabena mixed house style,
as everything has a cost..
but it would be wise to adapt one with the new A32X series and props to come..
but then the same problem rise of not a uniform housestyle..

Pity..

CX-B

and yes.. cnc Bralo indeed mentioned a brussels airlines.. but I didn't look further .. no probs haha

Why not? Another LH subisidiary, SWISS is currently strengthening its positioning and sharpening its brand profile, which will completely change the look of its planes. See their press release issued earlier today: http://www.swiss.com/web/EN/about_swiss ... 10818.aspx
