Where are the belgocontrol stats ?
It seems we have no stats since january. Any idea what happened ?

Just a wild guess: Belgocontrol is in a dramatic financial situation. Stopping the statistical work might be a way to save money...

Maybe Belgocontrol management doesn't like what the stats say?
Over the past year Belgocontrol management has used the decrease in traffic figures to push their employees to be more 'productive'. Their idea of cutting costs is use less people to do the same work. Since the traffic figures were on the decline almost all of 2010, they could use that argument. Now it seems the traffic figures are increasing again (4% in EBBR, 7% for ACC, ... in Jan).
Why publish something that you can't use against your employees? Something the unions might even use to oppose new 'rationalisations'...?
MAybe I'm a bit prejudiced but I wouldn't put it past them....

I can assure you that seen from ATC radar ops room, the traffic has increased .... even if it might be denied from behind a management's desk ... We, AT Controllers, have to face it everyday and work it live ...

La simple raison pour laquelle vous ne trouvez pas les statistiques sur notre site web depuis janvier 2011 est le fait que les statistiques de février et de mars n'ont pas encore été validées par la direction des OPS.
Le calcul des statistiques et la source pour les aéroports régionaux ont également changés. Cela demande une explication correcte à formuler.
Depuis le 1 mars nous contrôlons également le traffic à Liège Airport plein temps et la Divison Flight Level pour le GD du Luxembourg a également été modifié en mars...
Nous ferons le nécessaire à vous communiquer au plus vite les statistiques des derniers mois.
