what a surprise this morning.
It seems easier to navigate the site and the timetable has got a nice update!

Nice, very clear, fresh presentation, indeed.

Two features that have disappeared:

• The track function does not seem to be active. It means also that the type of aircraft is no longer mentioned (at least for now)
• The timetable has disappeared... (did I look enough?)

I guess the 'track' button will be activated later, otherwise they wouldn't have put it there. For the rest: codeshares are not clear at all! In general, I have to admit I liked the old one better. Maybe it's because I'm not used to it yet...

I like the design, but for example the timetable is not user-friendly at all. First I get an error "User Session expired" and looking up flights doesn't work at all. I also liked the airline logo in the arrival/departures section, seems to be gone as well.

But again, the design (and especially the homepage) is nice. Pages load quickly as well.

According to Brussels Airport's Facebook group, that's just a preview, the new site will be officialy launched tomorrow.

I hope we will see the exact aircraft type back in the flight status section and not just the generic aircraft type (330, 737, 32S, 767...).

Looks like many generic sites, at first you don't really know if you're on the official site of the airport or just some generic copycat that have a similar web address.

The timetable doesn't tell you if there are nonstop/direct flights on other days that the one selected by default and doesn't show those cities (e.g. BEY) with a red dot, that is misleading. One might assume there are no direct or nonstop flights with that city, full stop.

Response time seems better and hopefully as others mentioned they didn't just lighten the website but rather (and more important) beefed up the web farm so that 100% availability of the full site can be guaranteed.

I had the same feeling. It looks like some chineese design (and do they really need a cheap banner to make money ???). Very bad imo. but it's easy.

That puzzles me. If it is a preview of a website that will be launched tomorrow, the old website should still be available. It is not. Only the new version is publicly available. It means that the new website is active and fully operational before its official launch!

codeshares are not clear at all!

I agree. It is impossible to know which ic the operationg airline and which are the codeshare partners. Example in tomorrow's arrivals:

In the previous version, there was only one mention of the scheduled time of arrival/departure: on the first line. The first line also contained the operating airline; the codeshare partners came afterwards. Here it is impossible for the general public to know that the operating airline is SN on the 7th line....

Note: the addition of the name of the airport (Blagnac) to the name of the city (Toulouse) is an improvement.

Indeed, the flights/codeshares are shown simular to the limited version of the website wich is shown during strikes/weather problems/... And if you don't know more about the flights its inpossible to see wich one is the operating airline.

But for the rest I like this website more than the previous one. Just some things wich could better or aren't working (I suppose that should be solved when the website if officially launched tomorrow).

Overall I like it. I have the impression it loads a lot faster.
BUT: is it really needed to have such a wide commercial banner on the right? Makes it all look rather cheap to me...

Tha's probably a sacrifice in the name of speed: images don't load as fast as text.

think it's an improvement. definitely quicker. job section is fancier too. don't like the arrivals & departures pages. it looks like the internet page BRU had 10yrs ago...

I absolutely agree. It does look like a copycat site that you stumble onto when you misspell a URL.

It looks VERY cheap and unprofessional. The publicity banners add to this feeling.
The homepage is just terrible...

They should have used these colors/graphic style and fonts for the website:

Flight info (Arrival, Dept) section has less features:
No Airline icon, not even the airline name in a pop-up. Is the passenger supposed to learn airlines codes and guess who is operating the flights (those code share groups in alphabetic order are really awful)?

And in addition... no mention of the type operated anymore...
