Re: Second DB logojet for Tuifly - D-ATUC
Hi,
Can't imagina a belgian JAF 737 with logo from NMBS,
never on time,always late,worst fares ever,never clean,...
Still miss some logoplane around BRU, Megamindy-Plop isn't that logo for me, but a nice
beginning...
CX-B
PS why not ?, paint paid with commercial, no paintshop for your own bill and if it fits with
your profile? Could work for TC-JAF and why not SN ??
BTW Why not an old SN retro-fit for our own Brussels Airlines, remembering SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !

Mind you: the DB fares are much, much higher than the NMBS/SNCB ones. That's probably how they can afford to advertise on a TUI jet...cathay belgium wrote:Can't imagina a belgian JAF 737 with logo from NMBS,

In Germany there is a very close cooperation between the DB and the airlines. Many flights departing from FRA have a ticket by train included. And that makes sense. If you book long haul out of Cologne, the cheapest tickets are sometimes departing Cologne by train towards FRA and a flight from FRA.
If I am not wrong, this is following a government regulation of some years ago to put people on the train to relieve air traffic.
Price...I think it depends on what you buy from DB. Short distances can be astronomous high. I think it also depends on the hour. But I have taken the ICE from FRA - after an unhappy meeting between the front end of my car and an adult wild pig - to Bruges for something like 50 € or 70 €, can't remember exactly. Just bought at the ticket stand.

The Rail+Fly System is a good idea, but not many Airlines have the ticket included. Many flights departing from FRA have a ticket by train included.
For example: Air Berlin
Here you can buy a Rail+Fly-Ticket (a ticket, that brings you from the nearest station at your
hometown to the airport-station) for 50 Euros (return) in second class or 100 Euros in first class.
Not really cheap...
