Air France/Delta to increase Paris-Atlanta to 5 daily

Post by sn26567 »

According to Airline Route, AIRFRANCE - DELTA will be increasing Atlanta - Paris CDG from 3 to 5 Daily in Summer 2011 season.

I remember when Sabena was the first European airline to fly to Atlanta, first with a B707, then with a B747. It was a great success. Where is the time?

Now Skyteam seems to aim at having a monopoly on Europe to Atlanta routes...

Moreover as KL/Delta will have 4 daily flights between Amsterdam and Atlanta during Summer 2011 (1 777, 1 MD11, 1 A330-200 and 1 A330-300).

Time to think to add a third UA/SN flight to Denver or Houston, major hubs of UA now merged with Continental. And yes, with a true F product (suites, etc..)

It is expected UA will retain the CO two class layout, and keep UA's three class layout for selected routes. What will hapen with UA's Y+ is not yet known.
