As per 25NOV10 GDS timetable display, KLM plans to introduce additional Daily service on 13 European markets in Summer 2011 season.
With these new changes in effect from 27MAR11, there is a number of schedule adjustments. Note that there are 2 routes with service reductions in Winter 2010 season will be maintained beyond March 2011 for the moment.
Details and markets with service increase as follows. Note specific schedule and changes are subject to change:
Amsterdam – Aberdeen Increase from 4 to 5 Daily
Amsterdam – Berlin Tegel Increase from 5 to 6 Daily
Amsterdam – Copenhagen Increase from 5 to 6 Daily
Amsterdam – Edinburgh Increase from 5 to 6 Daily
Amsterdam – Geneva Increase from 5 to 6 Daily
Amsterdam – Glasgow Increase from 4 to 5 Daily.
Amsterdam – Humberside Service remains at reduced level, 3 Daily, compared to 4 in Summer 2010
Amsterdam – Leeds/Bradford Increase from 3 to 4 Daily
Amsterdam – Lisbon Service remains at reduced level, 2 Daily, compared to 3 in Summer 2010
Amsterdam – Manchester Increase from 5 to 6 Daily
Amsterdam – Munich Increase from 5 to 6 Daily.
Amsterdam – Newcastle Increase from 4 to 5 Daily
Amsterdam – Oslo Increase from 5 to 6 Daily
Amsterdam – Prague 3rd Daily introduced in Winter 2010 season maintained in S11
Amsterdam – Trondheim Increase from 2 to 3 Daily
Amsterdam – Zurich Increase from 5 to 6 Daily

Note that KL has to increase frequencies as it will create an extra intercontinental arrival and departure bank. If the frequencies remained at current level, they thought that connecting times would have increased.

And a new European destination has been announced today: Aalborg, Denmark. 2 frequencies a day with a Fokker70.
