Plane escorted into BRU by 4 fighters

Hi, just passed over Aarschot (if my eyes didn't lie, only saw them shortly):

A plane (747 I think) escorted by 4 smaller planes (fighters I think) in approach to 25R.

Anybody can confirm?

I can confirm, Stij. In in Kampenhout right now, and saw a BAF A310 descending for what it seems a low pass (since the gear of the Airbus was still up), in formation with 4 F16s. What a nice show, on such a lazy day like mine

It was the A310 of BAF who was escorted by 4 F16. Really nice view.

There's a British Airways 777 standing on the tarmac here, heard rumors about smoke in the cockpit and others about a bomb alarm - anyone has more info?

I can confim. At Grimbergen 15.30 The BAF 310 with 4 F16. Verry low and noisy.

It did a low pass over 25R

Correct info by JAF 737. Last flight A310. Greeted also military bases of Florennes and Beauvechain.

Indeed last flight of BAF A310. Flyby over 25R with 4 F16. Made a circuit afterwards.
Landed without the F16's on 25R. On approach of Mil Apron, it was baptised by Brussels airport Fire brigad

I can confirm this. Flew around approx. 10 past 3 over Beringen towards Aarschot.

After the landing theA310 taxied back to the apron of Melsbroek where te firebrigade gave them a water salute.

It was nice to witness that

I was just driving on apron 9 when they past over BRU. A real once in a lifetime experience.
Sad I didn't have the time to take my cell to film it.
