If this is the case then it will be 2 of the following

N204MX, MSN 4204, EIS March 2010
N254MX, MSN 4252, EIS April 2010
N275MX, MSN 4275, EIS June 2010

All stored by the lessor at the moment...

What I've heard is, two pretty new A319's of Mexicana. One from 2009 and one from early 2010.

Any idea about the two other A319's and the two A320's?

So at least 3 pretty new A319's. The oldest A319 of Hamburg International is D-AHIH, MSN3364, EIS January 2008. The newest D-AHIO, MSN3872, EIS May 2009.

Are you sure about the A320's? These are LTU aircraft now flying in Air Berlin colors:

D-ALTC, MSN1441, EIS April 2001
D-ALTD, MSN1493, EIS June 2001

So they will be something like 10 year when joining SN.

For the A320's: I can confirm ALTC and ALTD are inspected by SN as potential SN-birds.

For A319: D-AHIH is the one... ;)

and also have a look at N275MX ...

The latter two birds seem to have been built respectively in 2008 and 2010, if I have done my research correctly. Not bad if these young birds join the b.air fleet.
Lamal, you write that SN is now inspecting two A320s as potential SN-birds. Isn't that already late, if these planes have to be ready for April 2011 as I seem to remember to have read somewhere ? Are three to four months enough to prepare the new planes to enter the SN fleet ?

Wel, first inspection took place 1,5-2 months ago, and they are in perfect condition. So my guess is things can go quick. See what happend with OO-SSD, joined the fleet in august 2010, first inspection around januari - februari 2010 (correct me if I'm wrong).

Note that Brussels Airlines in planning to phase-in 2 A320 and 4 A319 as from April 2011. These will all be (relatively) yound birds, so phasing-in can go very fast.

Thanks ! Do you happen to know if these planes will keep their current seats ? Will just the livery change ?
Any other changes ?

According to Planespotters, the next two A319's will come from Easyjet.
G-EZEI and G-EZEM
Both planes are 7 years old and both are an 319-111. Can anyone tell me what the difference is with an 319-112? The -112 is the type of A319 that SN has at this moment (except for the OO-SSP).

SSP is an -113 and the rest is all -112 indeed.
But I don't know exactly what it stands for. Often it has something to do with the (version of the) engines, but I don't know if that's also the case with the A319 (or in general the A320 series).
With Boeing aircraft the last two numbers are just a customer code wich is the same for every aircraft (doesn't matter wich type) that is delivered to the same airline.

For all A32S/33x/34x/38x series:

-x0x series are equipped with GE engines
-x1x series are equipped with CFM engines
-x2x series are equipped with P&W engines
-x3x series are equipped with IAE engines
-x4x series are equipped with RR engines
-x6x series are equipped with EA engines

For the A319:

A319-111 = With CFM56-5B5 or 5B5/P engines
A319-112 = With CFM56-5B6 or 5B6/P or 5B6/2P engines
A319-113 = With CFM56-5A4 or 5A4/F engines

thanks for the info! So I guess that SN only flies with CFM engines then...

the 5B5 variant seems to have 2 kN less max. thrust and a slightly higher bypass ratio. So I guess this won't give too many commonality problems (as opposed to OO-SSP which has CFM engines from a different series, CFM56-5A)

About commonality: U2 A319s have 4 overwing exits iso the regular 2 to cope with the higher seating numbers of a LCC.

OO-SST is being used already by a Rockwell Commander 114

OO-SSS, SSU, SSV, SSW, SSX, SSY, SSZ are free and were never been used.
