Houw much time did this flight last?
It was really short, I can tell you.

My (passenger’s) logbook shows two flights with OO-SDM on june 29, 1979:
ANR-BRU SN900 11 minutes (10.50-11.01 t/o RW 29 landing 25L)
BRU-ANR SN901 8 minutes (16.17-16.25 t/o RW 25R, landing 29)

You think an RJ85 can make it? Isn't this runway a bit short?

Problem is in case of an RTO, no? Without trust reversers you'll have a hard time to stop before ending on the ringroad.
I compare this with Bromma. ESSB has a declared ASDA of 1768 m and they always make use of every little bit of asphalt available by licking the pavement markings before making an aircraft carrier catapult TO.
EBAW is only 1510 m long.

Anybody any idea about this performance limitation on RJ85? How long a runway is needed for it?

Thks
in the old -sabena- times, DAT used to be stationned in Antwerp. I don't know if the 146's where with them then already tho :)

DAT ? Ask Mr. Van Gaever and his saga.
