2/6 JAF3198 Going around at CRL

Post by Marten »

Hello fellow aviation fans,

Yesterday, my parents came home from holiday on flight JAF3198 GCLP-EBCI
Suddenly, on final, the engines spooled up and there they went up again, GO AROUND!
Does anyone have a clue why they did go around? No announcements made after landing.

Greetings,

Marten

Hey Marten,

A go arounf is quite a common manoeuvre that's being done at a regular rate. After 7 years of flying as a cabin crew member I can't count on 20 hands how many I had :) Anyway, as the weather was really good yesterday, the main reason would have probably been because the runway was not yet free. It can get really busy in CRL these days :? Either that or the pilots flew an unstable approach and decided to try again a second time ;)

Or cabin not ready :), instruments problems (ILS flag...), traffic, windshear
