A very nice replacement to Ryanair's recently cancelled Charleroi - Alghero :)

Is this an additional flight above the 3 daily flights to Istanbul Ataturk?

And operated by Turkish Airlines? The operating hours ar pretty much the same as the current TK flights to/from Ankara. The arrival and departure time in BRU is the same as the current TK operated Ankara flights. So if I understand in correct, Anadolujet will take over the Ankara flights (and change the flight hours) and TK will operate in stead of Ankara, SAW with almost the same shedule as they fly to Ankara?

BRU-Ankare flights shedule like operated now by TK:
ESB 05:30 BRU 07:10
BRU 22:35 ESB 03:15

Indeed, this is true. TK has used the Ankara slots for the SAW flights, while Anadolujet will now operate the ESB flights with different slots.

Aer Lingus usually use their 174 seater A320's on the Dublin to Brussels route. Last Thursday evening however they used one of their 212 seater A321's. And maybe they will use this more often?
Already again this Thursday and Friday evenings, and also next week flights EI638/EI639 on the evenings of Wednesday May 12th and Sunday May 16th will all be using an A321 (these flights had sold out weeks ago when planned with an A320) - the latter being necessary extra capacity for the long weekend in Belgium.

By the way, it looks like tomorrow's DUB-BRU won't be operating due to volcanic ash over Ireland:

XL Airways France promotes on his website flights from Brussels to Sevilla. According to their booking engine these flights only operates on sundays in July (one weekly connection for just one month).

Yes, very strange indeed... Nothing to be found on Amadeus or Brussels Airport website. But then, not one of the XL flights are loaded in Amadeus. Nevertheless: the schedule:

...which means also a positioning flight from/to wherever that plane is based in France!

Perhaps some sort of test for starting up the route at a later date with more frequencies? Nevertheless they offer very attractive prices for these strange flights.

True, 126 euros all in are a very, very good deal. Does anyone actually know what plane will be operating the flights? On their website, there is nothing mentioned. I guess the 330s are out of the question... so that leaves us with the 320 or the 738.

Could also be NTE for example.

I've only found flights on Thursday 08/07 CDG - BRU - SVQ and back on Thursday 15/07.
On other dates nothing

Blue1 will introduce the B717's to BRU as from 15AUG10, but will reduce frequency to 7x/w (now 11x/w). Frequency will rise again to 11x/w in September. Throughout October, MD90 are also operating some flights.

So I suppose Blue1 is doing fine on the BRU route.
