They lost their case against Testaankoop ( organisation to protect consumers ) , but they claim on their website that they won it. Utterly disinformation. They have lost it. Final.

Look, it is simple. If you don't want to live according the laws of a nation , leave it.

They have lost on some points, they have won on others; it's not an out-and-out defeat or victory neither for TA, nor for Ryanair nor for Brussels Airlines - remember, Brussels Airlines was also involved in the case, but it seems entirely to have escaped regi's attention ...
Thus, Brussels Airlines, according to regi, it's simple : if you don't want to live according to the laws of Belgium, leave it !

NB : Here is the exact position of Ryanair :
The Namur court judgment made a few minor recommendations
about Ryanair’s website and we will appeal or implement these in due course
You are wrong , and still don't want to admit it, just as Ryanair. There is a court verdict.
If there would not have been a verdict negative for Ryanair , they would never change their attitude/website.
I did read about the verdict against other airlines as well , but did not refer to it because it goes here about Ryanair. You ridiculise me here on a point just as I could ridiculise you as well because you forget to mention the Easyjet verdict. But it is not about Brussels Airlines, not about Easyjet.

My remark about leaving our peacful nation is because a foreign company with a negative record ( they came to Ostend and left us again: fact ) pushes our Belgian company in a corner, uses illegal practises ( see verdict ) and still persists in its wrong doing. Brussels Airlines doesn't ask to change all kind of existing regulations; It is Ryanair that continuously goes over the limit.
This is not a partnership with the local community.
It convinces me even more that Ryanair should stay away from Ostend. Bad news.
The website of Brussels Airlines doesn't make a reference to the court verdict. I could not check the Easyjet site. Maybe they are adjusting it according the verdict :)

"Foreign company", "Belgian company" : we are all in the European Union, you know. Nowadays, foreign means from outside the EU, not inside.

Moreover, It's a judgement at the first instance (if that is the right word in English); every party can still make appeal of that judgement, it's perhaps not the end of the story.

That is true. But I didn't read about an appeal on Ryanair its website. I just read that they had won the case while they had lost it. Very childish and provocative of Ryanair to tell lies.
I just checked the Easyjet website and it seems to have changed a bit, especially the all in packages.
No word about the verdict. Not necesarry , because the verdict says that if they comply with the law, no justification has to be put on the website. Same same with Brussels Airlines.

A bit off-topic, sorry.

He already does. You can fly to Porto, Marseille, and in May, Girona

Wow, Weelde would be convenient! (to me). "Turnhout-Tilburg International Airport"...... just joking.

My goodness, Lille is doing Girona as well ! So can somebody explain me now why the FXXX hell my money is used to pay Ryanair to fly Ostend to Girona -when it is just an hour drive from Bruges to Lille?
I should thank you to correct me on this one - I do sincerely. But my blood pressure has popped up so much that blood comes out of my eyes, ears, nose and other cavities.
I give it up. I surrender. Sorry folks, I started this subject but it has taken 10 years of my life. I get obsessed by it. The next thing I will do is book a ticket with Ryanair. One way. Ushuia, the end of the world.

You are aware that the Ryanair flight to Ushuaia is a code-share, operated by Biman ?!

Excuse me for coming back to topic: have we better information available now?
Will FR indeed resume OST operations, and if so, when, and which?

It seems like Jetair is reacting in OST. From July 2nd they offer flights to AGP, one of the two possible Ryanair destinations. AGP was not in the original summer schedule ex OST. Will they get the same conditions as FR? Let the discussion start...

Maybe that's just an OST-LGG-AGP flight like they often do ?
AGP is a destination of LGG already

Het vliegtuig zal plaats bieden aan 142reizigers.
142? its a 73W and i don't think its going to be LGG-OST-AGP because that would be the only destination (besides a FH flight) so that means they need a ferry flight back to LGG every time

I saw today in an article in Metro that Ostend Airport expects the negotiations with ryanair to be completed in November. Starting from that date the first airplane of Ryanair wil fly from Ostend to Spain.
