Sas Longhaul Economy: anyone any experience?

Post by CSB »

Hi,

I've got a question,

This summer I'm flying from Brussels to Bangkok. We'll be connecting in Copenhagen onto the SAS Airbus 340-300.

I was wondering what to expect. I Know that they have gone completely low cost on their European flights, but have they also done this on their longhaul flights.

We'll be flying in regular economy, so if anyone has any experiences, sharing them would be appreciated.

Kind regards

CSB

Two years ago, I flew SK on BRU-CPH-IAD. The CPH-IAD part was good, nothing more, nothing less. It was flown with A333. I found everything on board 'average'. So no bad experience, I would fly them again if their price is the cheapest way to get somewhere. I remember the A330 had cameras on the nose, tail and belly and PTV in economy. Leg room was also similar to most european airlines in Europe/US. I also had a friendly crew.

Something extra I got from the crew because I am a nice guy :-)

My parents always told me to appreciate what you get. ;) Did you notice it wasn't even a clean napkin, but there were some crumbles on it! 8-)

Flew them from CPH to NRT about two years ago ... economy class definitely not bad, but not outstanding neither. I'd say, an average product you could expect from an average european carrier ... have a good trip!
