As far as I know 9W was flying their B777 till January to BRU.
Some seem to need more than a few words to get the joke...

No it wasn't that, there are a lot articles that mention that. But this is almost the same as the article I read.

And indeed 9W not joining an alliance other than Star is the best for BRU. When 9W joins Skyteam or Oneworld, 9W probably will consider leaving the airport as a hub.
