Isn't this actually a reason to paint it in Star Alliance colors? To gain reputation in Africa whereas SN is already an established airline in Africa? The local passengers know they are flying Brussels Airlines and will encounter the same service when they board every SN plane.
So it actually might be a good idea to rotate the new A333 (
if it will receive the *A-colors) trough the entire African network to gain reputation.
Another difference might be that in most markets you'd enter a plane via the bridge, thus not even seeing the 'small' logo at the front part of the plane, whereas in Africa you mostly enter via stairs, thus looking up to the Brussels Airlines logo, so the pax still recognize it as a Brussels Airlines bird.
