Post by Shanti »

Sunday mornng (31st January) JAF flight 701 to Cancun via Vardero, normal
dep.time was 08.50 but is now delayed till 15.15.
Which registration has the plane? I heard it will be an Arkefly plane. Is this
true?
Many thanks for the additional information!

PH-AHX should have landed around 15.40LT today to operate the JAF701 tomorrow, but it didn't. I just checked the system again and the plane that is assigned is now PH-AHQ. Only problem is, it will only be dispatched tomorrow around 12u00LT in AMS, for a 12u45LT arrival in BRU. Therefore, JAF701 BRU-VRA-CUN-BRU is delayed until after 14u00LT.

Hello,

Following my secret source, it's gonna be "PH-AHY" ...
To be confirmed of course, errors are always possible.

Have a good we

Whats wrong with TUC and JAP? I thought JAF had leased the second 767 to avoid such situations?

Since it's the same company, is the cabin crew JAF or Arke?

JAP will operate JAF727 EBBR-HTZA-HKMO-EBBR tomorrow. When is OO-TUC scheduled for D-check?

For the persons who doesn't understand icao codes, it's Zanzibar and Mombasa !
Departure is scheduled sunday evening @ 20h30 LT.
I think that OO-TUC will be out of the line as from tomorrow for his check (but i can be wrong)
The OO-JAP is flying to Tenerife during the day before the flight to Africa.
He must be back from Punta Cana via Montego bay around 7 o'clock.

Wait and see...

OO-JAP did not fly to TFS (OOJAF did) after arriving from MBJ in the morning. In stead, it will stay on the ground until 20u30 for the Zanzibar-Mobasa departure. PH-AHQ will operate the flight JAF701 to Varadero-Cancun today (31/1) and the flight 103 to Puerto Plata-Punta Cana tomorrow (1/2) as well.

It is expected this flight will also have a delay, as the downtime between the Cancun arrival and the Puerto Plata departure is less than 1u30. As JAF701 is running over 7 hours late, this will also have an effect on the JAF103 departure tomorrow morning (11u15).

Also, there is more news about the OO-TUC. It will depart tomorrow at 07u00 local Brussels time for Taipei Taoyuan airport for the D-check as JAF011P.

And there are some other changes. PH-AHQ will fly back to EHAM today around 18u00LT, it's place has been taken by PH-AHY. This aircraft flew JAF103 today (11u15LT scheduled departure) and will fly back to EHAM tomorrow (17u30 LT departure).

How long will this D-check last? I suppose several weeks?
Will there be a replacement aircraft?

I assume they want TUC back for the start of the summer season or at least the 'high season'... In the meanwhile, maybe it isn't necessary to deploy a 767 to the medium haul routes it sometimes does in summer so JAP can be used exclusively for long haul and on days when necessary, an Arke 767 can be deployed to cater for the needs?

Is TUC getting a new interior as well?

When are the two to Canjet leased 737's coming back for the summer season? I wass surprised to to see JAF leased out their second newest 738 OO-JBG to Canjet...

OO-TUC will be back in March, so it's like 5 or 6 weeks
