A more interesting question to ask LX (who has been claiming repeatedly he's merely a passenger with great interest in aviation) is where he got this piece of information from:
LX-LGX wrote:The full board has agreed that investments above 1.500.000 euro must be full board approved.
I'd like to see a link to a public source which reveiled this before...
Or is this coming straight from the shareholders pact?

)
But SN doen't need an external Airbus for that...
As Atlantis has already said here, LH has announced it will start to operate from FRA to LBV and SN will be codesharing on this route. Don't you think it is odd for an airline like LH to venture so deep into black French speeking Africa to operate to a single destination?
Ever considered the likeliness this route could rather quickly be switched to BRU, albeit still operated by LH metal?

Especially given the fact several sources have indicated in the past LH would be willing to transfer some Central African flights from FRA to AFI and LH has -as noted by LX- 15 A330-300s in its fleet, some of which are not optimally used right now due to the economic crisis....
Just an idea of mine.
