That approach looks too level for my tastes. I prefer the LCY kind of approach, but I won't get it this year

It is where I USED to live.

As I just explained in the drink coaster topic, I would LOVE to post bigger images directly from my computer, but cannot see how to (if it is possible) on this site.

I tried to import a bigger image from another site, in preview it looked great, but when I submitted it, there was just an advertisement.

Then I could NOT delete that post, so I edited it.

The photo is taken through the front windsreen of a B767. (big hint if you read my postings). :D

I bet no one knows which airport runway this is!! It has one of the most hair raising approaches and climbs I've ever experienced!!

The photo on my post shows an airport many people might never even have heard of, but it has featured in the Airline Experiences forum and also City Guide.

Beside this one, London City approach and climb out pale into insignificance!

Correct Chris  But it ain't Reykjavik or Keflavik. This airport is not for the nervous, I can say that!

If anyone is interested in seeing a much larger image of the photo I posted at the start of this topic, and also many others, have a look at this site. :D

It is nothing against this wonderful site  just that over there you can load images directly on to the site from your computer. :D

No, it's not Vestmannaeyjar! And now I know how much notice you take of the City Guide forum! Vestmannaeyjar has not been in City Guide - yet
