Too bad, I think an A319LR could be adequate on BRU-BOS.

Let's not spoil the pleasure, it's always good to see a former bird return to the home base!

Welcome back to Sierra Echo!

also 2 of the BAe 146 series have been finally sold, one is undergoing inspection (a few weeks already)
and the other is coming in when this one is ready.

DJH is going to russia, and the second one (don't know the reg) is going to turky (from what i've heard ...)

so DJH and another BAe 146 will leave the fleet soon. And so will VEJ and VBR (once the new A319 will join the fleet)?

Could someone recap the current SN fleet and how it will evolve over this calendar year?

I think we are at:

- 4 A330-300s with a 5th in the pipeline
- 9-10 B737s (how many 300's and 400's, what about winglets?)
- 4 A319s with a 5th in the pipeline
- Is it 26 Avro's (how many 85's and 100's?)

Thanks a lot!

The 26 Avro's are:
14 Avro RJ 85 OO-DJK to OO-DJZ
12 Avro RJ 100 OO-DWA to OO-DWL

About the 737's, there are 5 737-300 and 5 737-400 in service if I'm not mistaken.
737-300 OO-LTM will go to Korongo.
The four other 733 are wingleted.

5 734: OO-VBR or OO-VEJ had to leave the fleet :?: and a 734 is used for charter ops only.

OO-LTM is wingleted, it's antother B733 (don't now wich one) that has no winglets.
I tought OO-VBR was the one that left the fleet in oktober and OO-VEJ is charter operated only.
So in total there will be 45 aircraft next summer in the SN fleet (for the moment) with probably the B 734 for charters back in full service because of the bussier summer timetable (there will be one aircraft for short-mid haul less than past summer (1 A319 will join, 1 B733 will leave, 1 B734 left the fleet in october)but the A333 compensate this, so the same amount of airplanes as past summer:45)
12 RJ100
14 RJ85
5 A333
5 A319
4 B733
5 B734

Can anyone confirm that OO-VBR has left the fleet in oct?
Other member of this forum told me he had flown OO-VBR last november/december to AGP!
So someone can't be right ?? !!!
Didn't heard anything about that the 737 was already gone...

SN said theirself that two B734's would leave operational service in the end of october. One would return to leasser and one would be used for charter operations.
So I suppose that is happened already? :?

Indeed OO-LTM has winglets. OO-VEN has no winglets. ;)

I think both OO-VEJ and OO-VBR are still in service.
I've seen OO-VEJ on 19/12 while spotting at BRU.
And I found this :
ACARS mode: 1 Aircraft reg: OO-VBR [ ]
Message label: ** Block id: @ Msg no: 1175
Flight id: SN2721 [BRU-GVA] [Brussels Airlines]
Message content:-

Ha,

2 737's must leave the fleet, but we have 3 participants for the exit-poll:
OO-VBR/VEJ/LTM except VBR all wingletted!
But which are gonna leave the fleet now & when?
Is there already an exact arrival date of the A319 known?,start of summer shedule?

The 2, who have to leave, are OO-VEJ en OO-VBR, as mentioned before.

I have been flying on OO-VBR on 1 Dec 09 and 14 Dec 09, both times FRA-BRU (SN2608), so at least four weeks ago it was still in service ...

Don't forget there's also a 737 needed for the project in FBM, which might explain the confusion... :)
