Good to see this since I applied with VEX also.
Got a negative response but now I see I don't have to worry bout it.
Aviation is always a turbulence area to work but.......it's an adicted area to work also.
I should have learned my lesson after Fokker and now KLM but.......I am going for it again.
Maybe not smart but imaging myself working not in the aviation is making me even more sad then knowing I am going to be kicked out by KLM together with 5000 collegues in 5 or 6 weeks.
I wish the VEX collegues all the best and wisdom in these awfull days!

It's not only in aviation that companies our laying-off people.
Every sector in Belgium seems to struggle, as if this country is filing for bankruptcy.

And I think the situation in Holland is even worse, as the population received a message from its government that every single individual has to make some sacrifices (€€€€€) in the next upcomming year.

At least the Dutch gov. is honest!!!!

If you want to travel with them as a pax: DON'T if you are taller than 1m78cm because you will not fit into the seats.
Thanks for the advise, I'm 1m83cm ;)

Thank you Jumbolino. :-) Danke.

And nobody will complain about that, quite the opposite... :P
As for 'hi guys' it doesn't address males only, it's rather gender-free. LOL
Of course, I'd be happy to use a more formal 'Ladies & Gentlemen' introduction if Comet, yourself and the other ladies around here prefered...
I pride myself on being as P.C. as possible... LOL
and yeah luchtzak is one of the greatest aviation forum I´ve seen :-)
Couldn't agree more...

Tschuss for now...

last week I heard they fired somebody from interline dpt, a receptionist and a few people from accounting. Soon there will be nobody left to fire!!

What is going on!!

I must say firing staff bit by bit it is a clever way to bypass the law of RENAULT :!: :!:

How many people did VEX fire already since this started in Oct/Nov 2003?

Oh yeah, can anybody explain me the fundamentals of this RENAULT law in case of collective lay-off??
