I thought loads on RJ are really low? Are you sure they will increase?
Re: BRU summer 2010: latest news, routes, airlines
Amadeus is still displaying 2 weekly flights.
Re: BRU summer 2010: latest news, routes, airlines
"Loads very low?"
And why are they flying with their A321's to BRU somethimes than? If you take a look in amadeus the flights in the comming days/week are mostly A321 or A320 further away A319 but if these flights comme closer they get often also an bigger plane. I think that 4 flights must be possible but as already said it is not yet official because the flights or not loaded in the booking systems yet.

no update in the booking engine of RJ, Amadeus and the others. But they have still time to do so if there will be an increase in flights. My guess is a new flight on Monday and Friday.

EgyptAir have finalised BRU S10 operations. Flights will revert back to the A321 (downgraded to A320 this winter) and the LXR flight will end in favour of increasing CAI-BRU-CAI to 5x weekly. The B738 will not be deployed on the route as originally planned.
As already announced the airline will code share with Brussels Airlines effective 12th January 2010.

Re: BRU summer 2010: latest news, routes, airlines
Codeshared SN flights on CAI are SN5600/1 (for the moment only 4 times a week in March 2010). LXR is still loaded in Amadeus, with codeshare SN5603/4. Capacity is zero'ed out, however, indicating the flight will not operate.
Will the new CAI flight be operated on Sunday (replacing LXR)? Or on another day, meaning Wednesday or Saturday, two days of the week which don't see MS service?

Here's hoping on more RJ frequency and better connectivity to BEY.
Re: BRU summer 2010: latest news, routes, airlines
Vueling will launch a new route BRU-VGO from March 2010, maybe even sooner.
No news yet about the frequency.

The government of Galicië wants to open several routes to national and international destinations. The regional government will finance those new routes, 4,5 million euro. Vigo will be linked to Brussels and Vueling is the airline who has to operate those new routes.

I made a search for a return flight BRU-PEK by Hainan Airlines in April 2010 on http://www.amadeus.net and it appears that the flight will be operated daily !
Can someone confirm this ?
And if it is true, is it just due to the World Fair or will it stay daily after ?

Re: BRU summer 2010: latest news, routes, airlines
BRU-PEK on HU is indeed loaded as a daily flight starting on March 28, the beginning of Summer'10
Not certain if this remains after the summerseason.

Remember the visit of the Chinese delegation in October. They have spoken a few hours about tourism between Belgium and China (hotel, flights, etc). The hours will remain: arr BRU 05.10h, dep BRU 13.50h
For the next winter timetable, it is highly possible that they again gonna reduce to 5 or 4 weekly flights (way to early at this moment)

I read that Senegal Airlines would like to fly to Brussels.
I can't read the article on travel magazine because I have no subscription.
Does someone know more?

The new airline is expected to gradually introduce a comprehensive network from Dakar to more than 20 destinations that will include regional capitals such as Abidjan, Bamako and Banjul, as well as other major points in West Africa - such as Accra and Lagos. Intercontinental services will ultimately reach Paris, Milan and Brussels amongst others.
