I sincerely hope that pilot had to turn in his license. It would be a shame to the entire pilot community who tries her best everyday to make aviation as safe and economically viable as possible while reducing the footprint on the environment if he still has his license. No mercy for such stupidities

En 1984, un pilote américain de 27 ans, Robert Moriarty passe entre les piliers de la Tour Eiffel à bord d'un Beechcraft Bonanza. Ancien marine, il avait effectué 824 missions au Viêtnam. Interrogé sur les raisons de son exploit, il répondit : "Just for the fun".

Robert J. Moriarty is a former American Marine F-4B fighter pilot who recorded over 824 missions in combat.

At the age of 20, he was the youngest naval aviator in the Vietnam war.
He became a Captain in the Marines at the age of 22.

He holds 14 International aviation records including Lindbergh's record for time between New York to Paris in two different categories.

On 31 March 1984 at 11:20, Robert Moriarty flew between the pillars of the Eiffel tower aboard a Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft.

The Vietnam war ended on April 1975; he was then 18 by which time he had flown 800+ missions and celebrated his 20th birthday !

Some years ago (if not decades) a French Aviator flew with an Morane Saulnier Rallye through the Arc de Triomphe

Funny part, the wing span was to wide but he managed ......

For me the most spectacular (or crazy if you want) was Jules Védrines, landing his Caudron G3 on the roof of galeries Lafayette at Paris in 1919!
