courses pilotage amateurs

Post by Happydays »

Helo,

I searched the internet to find if I could find a club for amateurs, but no results.
I would appreciate very much if someone could give me a hint, would you know if I could find a club giving flying lessons for amateurs , somewhere around Brussels?

Thank you

Simona

Hi,

You can try the Koninklijke Vliegclub De Wouw in Goetsenhoven (Tienen). It's a 30 minute drive from Brussels.

You can find more information on www.dewouw.net

First of all: welcome to this forum!
You will find aeroclubs on almost all civilian aerodromes in Belgium. Closest to Brussels is Grimbergen, but Charleroi is not much further if you have a car available. For ULM consider Baisy-Thy or Buzet.
Good luck!

Hi,

Thank you, I'll try this one as well, I received another reply for a location next to Charleroi too. It depends on what program they offer, it is a good thing if I can have an option, I work in the Aeropole 3 min from the Charleroi aeroport, I'll see to both options.I live in Brussels, I'll see which would be more suitable as program.

thanks again and best regards,

simona

Hi,

Thanks for the answer!
As I replied just before to matsATC, it's is a good thing I could find several options here, as I live in Brussels, but work next to the Chareloroi aeroport. yes, I have a car available as I must drive to work))) 100km/day
i''ll see to the programs offered, what's more convenient for me.

Thank you and best regards,

Simona

Ultra Light Motorised - a light aeroplane carrying no more than two persons, with some legal limitations, but a good deal cheaper - or should I say less expensive - than a "proper" airplane.

If you work to the North of EBCI, where I seem to remember this Aeropole thing, consider driving home to Brussels NOT taking the motorway but instead the "old" N5 road through Gosselies and towards Nivelles, it brings you along the Buzet ULM-odrome. Check www.confluence.be for more info. The bar is also very nice, beautiful little terrace overlooking the runway &c &c ...
