No. It rather seems to me that LH does not want to codeshare to Kinshasa. Why?

or perhaps the bilateral agreement between Germany and the DRC (assuming that there is a bilateral agreement ) does not permit third party codeshares , in which case it is not so much that they dont want to , but rather that they cannot ?

Indeed, the only thing I don't understand is how the hell we are going to preform those extra flights to AFI with only 4 A/C...

That's right, SN will add another Dakar-Banjul rotation to its network as from next winter, but isn't there also some route (or routes) which will see frequency cutbacks simultaneously?

On the more positive note, during a meeting with the unions, management has confirmed it has sent a fully completed file to the ExCom concerning the introduction of a 5th A330 on our network, so it's really in their hands now. Let's see if they put their money where their mouth is...

They certainly do have the money (€25M from LH), so what's going to be the excuse this time???

Lufthansa Italia has cancelled its 3 Daily Milan Malpensa - Brussels service. The service was supposed to be resumed from 01SEP09 after few weeks of suspension due to low traffic season. But this will not take place.

It is continuing to offer this route through codesharing with brussels airlines, which operates 5 Daily flights.

I saw on the Danube Wings site that the flight days are Mon/Tue/wed and Thr.
The arrival and departing hours are correct.

Indeed, I said x567 because that means "except days 567". So this is the same as saying Mon-Thu.

I liked BA better then BD... The ERJ145 is a very tiny plane compared to the A320 from BA...

I second that remark on BD with the ERJ not being the best airplane available on the route.

Compared to before is BD reducing/adding frequency/capacity overall with the SN codeshare?

Where are the days or BA's B757, B767 and Sabena widebodies between BRU and LHR!

Now don't get me wrong, I'm sure BA gets a lot of connecting traffic, and BD for sure offers much less on its end and most of it backtracking to the Continent. As far as city to city is concerned, what beats the Eurostar?

No codeshare yet, but today BMI upgraded BD151 to an A321.

Main reason is probably BD152 BRU-LHR - ETD 17h30: flight with many Arsenal supporters who return home after attending Wednesday evening's Champions League soccer match in Liège.

Changes regarding the flights from BRU to MUC, HAM , TXL and FRA.

SN will discontinue the flights to MUC and will keep the morning flight to FRA.
The flight in the afternoon will be discontinued.

HAM: 4 times a day by SN
TXL: 7 times a day by SN
FRA: 1 flight by SN on, 8 by LH
MUC: 8 flights by LH
Best regards,

Airbuske

Makes sense to share the work.

So SN has received TXL and HAM, whereas LH takes MUC?

Weird to see SN operate a single flight to FRA, although it does operate on a very early slot.
Maybe they are seeing it as a slot-keeping flight or something?
Or is LH going to cancel their nightstop in BRU for the FRA plane?

Hi airbuske,

Where did you get your info of the LH shedules for this winter?
Already checked both booking sites LH & SN and didn't noticed any changes of
aircraft or carriers !

Shouldn't they announce this change to their customers or change booking sites?
Noticed that the flights concerning TXL LH & SN togheter have 9 flights a day!
(where 6 by SN and 3 by eurowings LH )

Strange.
