OO-TUC or OO-JAP ?

Post by bailey »

Hello,

Is it possible to find out wether "oo-tuc" or "oo-jap" will be performing the JAF103 flight on Monday 21st September ?

I've been checking Skystef's movement blog and it seems sometimes oo-tuc and sometimes oo-jap are performing these flights. Is there a pattern ?

Thanks,
Bailey

No pattern.
It also depends when maintanance is planned, delayed flights,...
Like today for example OO-JAP comes in as JAF304 from Montego Bay, will have a maintanance check and departs tommorow to Chania.
OO-TUC comes in tonight from Hurghada and leaves tommorow to Cancun.
So it will be 50/50.

;)

As far as I can see, they are switching both planes between long haul and medium haul on a regular base.

Today i returned from Rhodes with the OO-JAP. I noticed they did not update the flight information software. Is still says skymark airlines and the information is partly in japanese.

The trip to Rhodes on the 5th of september was with the OO-TUC. It departed on time en the flight was perfect. It is a noisy plane (flaps, landing gear). The OO-JAP is quite quiet.

I believe the seat configuration in the OO-JAP is the same as in de OO-TUC. 2-3-2. Even the interior was almost the same. Both planes have sky leather seats and the carpet on the floors looks also the same. Flight entertainment monitors in de OO-JAP are LCD and in the front of the plane is a large beamer.

FYI,

Monday 21/09, JAF 103 BRU-POP-MBJ will be OO-TUC
OO-JAP will fly to PMI/IBZ, and afterwards to TNG

Have a nice holiday,

@BATAVIA: Thank you ! Was hoping to fly with the OO-JAP but OO-TUC is also fine. Maybe OO-JAP will pick me up again in 2 weeks :D
