STAR alliance, or Miles&More? As a firm date? Or a target date?HighInTheSky wrote:In the new onboard magazine (bThere or bSpirit, i don't recall) is mentioned twice that SN will join *A before the end of this year.
It would be great if indeed a firm date for their STAR alliance membership has been set, but then the communication department better wakes up and starts communicating on it, because right now, there's a lot of confusion amongst crew and pax, notably on all those routes which are in competition with future STAR partners....
The list of destinations where a schedule change is very likely due to the intergration of the SN timetable with that of the STAR partner is indeed huge, so I won't post it, but it's half the EU network! As we've seen with HEL, destinations could even be dropped alltogether, so it's URGENT SN start to communicate on the matter, because people are holding back bookings or even looking for alternatives right now because they want to be sure they'll still fly directly and at the time they want to, and not be rebooked through MUC or FRA or some other place and/or thus arrive too late at their destination of choice!
Summer is over guys, wake up! We're loosing pax over this....
