Quite old indeed,
and the world economy has changed dramatically since.

Currently, the only news about the fleet is that it will be downsized rather than expanded:
- all A300's gone by end of the year
- possibly (not yet confirmed) both MistralAir BAe146 sold

Oh yeah, not to forget they kicked out the maintenance department...

Good management requires drastic measures to limit the impact of the crisis, but good management also requires a clear view of the future. The only goal now should be to be ready, and be the first to restart. When, how, how much, it's impossible to say I guess. But doing nothing is for sure a mistake.

OO-TZA (A300) is ferried on 2 - 3 July to the USA for storage.

What happened to the two Tupolev TU-154 (SU-EAG and SU-EAJ) from Cairo Aviation which were operating for TNT since 2002 ? Are they also gone ?

Can't find any photos of them since 2007 so looks like they have gone. (They were TU-204's not 154's btw)

possibly (not yet confirmed) both MistralAir BAe146 sold
Both Mistral Air 146QTs are in storage at NWI, so I guess this rumor is now confirmed.

Can someone indicate what they have been replaced with? Or have the routes they had been flying been cut?

This is rubbish...ZB and ZD are still flying, and the other 4 have not been 'returned to lessor' They are parked in storage....Please try and be more accurate when posting on websites like this.. Lots of people read this forum............

We don't speak about TZB because that one is stil flying. BTW TZB was never mentioned in this topic.

Second: you have to read the post again because there you will see that TZA and TZC are mentioned as stored.

Indeed not correct at all.
I can double-triple-quadrupely confirm you that TZD is still in service.

The others TZA, TZB, HQT and HVZ are NOT returned to lessor for the simple reason that all A300's are TNT owned aircraft.

Again.... I never spoke about TZA and TZC that they were returned to lessor. They are simply stored. I only spoke about TZD. But the plan was on 7 August to store also this a/c. Could it be that he is now flying the last goods or maybe ad hoc flights, because a big part of our TNT clients are on holiday. They will begin again next week.

And I again confirm you that none of TNT's A300 aircraft are leased...

Further on TZD, SHE is still flying on the usual network routes with most of the time a near full capacity payload. (as is TZB btw)

Subcontracting!

We already have CarGOair B737 LZ-GCO, Icelandair is doing more rotations, Atlantic Airlines is more often operating two Electra's iso one...

And on the subject, TNT is by no means interested in the A320F. All they are interested in is moving packages from A to B.

In the future, you will see more and more third party operators at LGG, flying on behalf of TNT. That way they don't have to worry about mx, crew, etc... themselves, and when they feel the invoice is getting too high, the just go on the market in search for another (cheaper) airline.

The long discussed big fleet renewal may not come at all...

Subcontracting may be nice if all your planes are fully booked and you need additional space, but when you have your own fleet and you must pay for your fixed costs you look for additional business, not for subcontracting. OK you can sell your fleet and subcontract everything, but this often comes out more expensive: your subcontractor is also looking for profit!

Never seen so many Blue Birds,Swift Air's,West Air, Icelandic, MNG,... @ Lej...

In the end it will turn against them... But by than the damage is done to their own companies.
