21/06: SN 1453 NBO-BRU A330-300 OO-SFM is stuck in NBO (STA was 06.50, but is now 14.09) and the flight SN 247 BRU-ABJ-ROB on the 22nd (ETD 05.00) will be operated by Boeing 767 (probably euroAtlantic again?).

An impala?

Omg do these animals just stand on the runway?

What's next? An elephant?

May the impala rest in peace.

Greetz!

OO-SFO seems to be coming back from BJM, via Kigali and NBO. Arrival scheduled at 8:30 Monday morning as SN1463.

OO-SFO isn't returning yet. I think OO-SFM is picking up some stranded pax. As this flight also left Brussels this morning...
Hope to see her soon in BRU.

Flight callsign "B-line 81J" with 79 souls on board landed this evening just before 9PM LT with flaps only partially extended. Requested 25R and firebrigade as a precaution. Expect it to be a completely non-eventfull landing.

Today MD11 N380WA lost an engine on T/O(sea guls).Great interaction flt crew/ATC.Dumped for 15 min fuel over the north sea.Came safely back to land.Everithing went smooth and pro !Congrats to Crew and ATC.Except that the f....g sea guls are still protected by our friends the "greens",that they are a treath to aviation safety and on top of everything probably ruined my mussel culture in the north sea.
No hard feelings,but..

it seems that a 737 from jetairfly had to return to BRU after take off:

JAF4113 BRU-TFS took off at 10h19 (already delayed since 05h50), and returned to BRU at 11h15

new ETD is set for 15h00

Just for your information: when a flight is indicated at brusselsairport.be as 'departed', it doesn't necessarily mean that the flight got airborne.

As far as I know, this flight only got airborne after its second departure (and an aircraft change).

Yes, I do know that a flight is not always airborne when it's announced as "arr from BRU". So I always look at the time between first departure and arrival: for this flight, it was 10h19 and 11h15: one hour, far too much for a quick visit to the runway and a return to the gate. Hence my "it seems".

Actually, there was a first take off (for OO-JAM), and the plane reached FL130 before returning to BRU, where EQP was changed into OO-JAQ.

Brussels Airport is giving strange information for today's SN3181 BRU-FCO (Rome): seems the 737 has left the gates 2 times already.

The pilots / some pilots at Royal Air Maroc are on strike, says Het Laatste Nieuws.

So far, only delays at BRU - no cancellations yet.

Yesterday at Charleroi, a Jetairfly 737-800 has been damaged by a service vehicle.
The plane was to fly to Oujda and back.
Jetairfly have found a plane by Meos (?) and the flights were made some 6 or 7 hours late.
Sorry, only in French :

Should be Neos, flights were operated by I-NEOX. Today, JAF2703 CRL-DJE should be operated by Air Finland Boeing 757-200 OH-AFJ.
