Contrail spotting June 2009
Great work last month but a new month has arrived, so perhaps new opportunities to share your (pictorial) sightings.

Hi.I`m new here and i want to ask is there a problem if i am posting pictures which are taken with DMC-FZ18
? Because as i see you are using very good things to spot the OVERFLIGHT planes.
Thank you.

Thank you.

thx for feedback, now and the next couple of week indeed chances to see the noctilucent stuff after sunset or before sunrise. Try to keep track of them by making some pictures.

no problem , you can post any contrail picture, with or without telescope.

Not sure if this picture fits here, but it's still a contrail
http://www.jwgc2009.fi/23062009/target60.html
Picture taken at the Junior World Gliding Championship in Finland by one of the 'locals'. Plane is a Discus 2a glider, releasing water ballast over the finish line...

Hi
A few more photos which i took to today(18.30--20.30pm)-----the sky is still HAZY over the southeast of england.
The EGPYTAIR AIRBUS A340(SU-GBN) IS RARE over the southeast of england as this is my 1st sighting on contrail.aircraft going west on airway UM733.
The flybe is going northwest on airway UT420,
FEDEX MD-11 going east on UL607,
The AIRBUS A330 of BMI is routing for LHR.

All the best to you all
